Ok to make a $50 payout minimum each month you need to make an average of $1.66 a day. If you work on each month having 30 days. So I am just wondering what the average number of veiws would be to make that $1.66, or as close as? Assuming you don't make any money from ebay, amazon, etc.

Ok so I found my monthly average last month was around $4.70. So I would need around 10,638 views, around 354 a day. Hmmm, the few days before xmas my views shot up to 1,200 each day. I'm just short of $40 for the month, seems achievable! Thanks
Yeah daisydays that's what I just worked out too. You'd need around 355 views a day to get $50. https://hubpages.com/community/hubpages-income-the... check out my hub here. This might help you understand it all better.
gosh (sorry-I am just a 'newby')-Thats amazing number of views etc needed for so little return...surely most people that stay with hubpages must be doing so for the community aspect to it-even the critics??..
Hi Jan, thank so much for your input, it's helpful to see how other peoples stats rate against mine. Having a huge social networking following must be helping your views lots. Hope some of the comments answer your questions too!
I've noticed that you have ads on your hubs that don't feature the 'Ads by Google' text. They aren't ebay or amazon ads either. I'm just wondering how you manage to include those ads in your hubs.
@sleepylog, I havent added any other ads, I can only assume they are part of the Hubpages Ad program?
Hi Daisy, Consider joining Google's program directly. While it's often only a trickle, every so often there is a high pay per click and 2 or more dollars get added to your account on a single click through.
I am new to hubpages and haven't yet earned anything from my hubs. But after hearing your story I am sure that I will start to earn one day.
Just as a follow up to this I was on Info Barrel in their learning section and they say to expect a real pay check about 1000 articles are needed
This was very helpful, thank you for taking your time to post this.
@JanMakiak 1000 articles! Wow that's a hell of a lot, but I suppose it's something to aim for. I'm making around $20 off 104 so logically 1000 would be around $200 a month.
isn't it bad for your google rankings to tweet your link every 1/2 hour?
Thanks for your input
Thanks for explaining CPM a little, I was just wondering what the average might be, mine goes up and down a lot but I thought maybe there was an average people could base it on.
