Do you have Hubs that are incomplete/unpublished that are just collecting virtual dust?
I recently had a look through my hubs and realized I have at least 6 unpublished hubs that I don't currently have any inspiration to finish. What does anyone else do with these? Wait for a rainy inspired day or just delete them?
If you feel they are really a long ways from being complete, I think I would just bid them a fond farewell. Cleaning house can be very therapeutic
I have a title for one hub, and that's it. It's a topic I know a lot about, I just can't push myself to do it, despite writing many hubs since saving the title to that one.
Eventually Ill break down and write it or delete it. I hate having unpublished hubs collecting dust.
just think twice before you delete it. My advice is you better finish those hub.. think more ideas how to improve those hubs. I know you will make it ThompsonPen.
Good luck...
Thanks! That's how I feel - that if I delete them, one day I'll be ready to complete them and they'll be gone
Hi ThompsonPen,
I have a few incomplete hubs, all of which I intend to finish. I write hubs in series, often I have to complete the series before publishing them all at once. Ronilo Blanca is right, you should always finish and publish them as you never know where your next top performing hub will come from.
Also, as has happened to me a couple of times, when either finishing or revising an existing hub, you may get an idea for a new hub. I would wait for a rainy day and take a fresh look at them.
That is sound advice. Thank you for your input!
I tend to work on 3-5 hubs at a time that are a work in progress. Sometimes I need some inspiration to finish them, which usually comes at some point. I do finish them at some point.
I never used to be a Hub-multi tasker, but I've been finding myself doing this as well, though up until recently I was able to at least get one of the Hubs in my multi-tasking muddle done a day
I have a handful that I had come up with an idea and title for, but just haven't had the chance to write them yet. Now that school's out for the summer, there will be less running around with the kids and hopefully I can get them hammered out!

Have you ever chosen to delete any of your hubs?If so, why? Did it have the affect that you were looking for?

Do you have hubs that stay at the bottom of your hub list no matter what you do to them? Is it the unappealing subject matter, boring content, too short, oversaturated topic, poetry, or something else? I have about 5 or 6 at the bottom of my barrel of 83 hubs. I'm curious about why and wonder if...

I have a few hubs that I wrote about 10 years ago when I first started writing on hubpages that are not very good. They are pretty thin on content and get little or no traffic now. Some of them have even been unpublished due to lack of traffic or for quality. I am not disputing that they are not...

I'm not necessarily in the 30 in 30 this month, but I'm desperately trying to empty my que. I now have 52 unfinished hubs, and I've completed 8 so far this month. We'll see if I can get at least half of those 52 gone by the last day in February.Which, means I'll end up publishing at least 30...

Do you keep all of your hubs even if they are not featured ?

One or two of my hubs have fallen victim to the "does not meet quality standards" empty bubble. In one case, I imagine it is because the hub falls under the "purely personal" category, better suited to a blog. That's fine. I can move it. (It's an older hub...
