How many of you have your hubs stolen?

I have 152 hubs of which 11 have been stolen.

Sadly, I think pretty much everyone who Hubs has been a victim of content theft at least once.

To my knowledge, I have yet to see anyone steal any of my hubs, but then again, i rarely ever have time to look for things like that these days.  Let alone keep up with my own work.  I'm sure someone probably has stolen my hubs in the past, but I'm probably not aware of it at this time.

I am sorry to hear that your hubs were stolen though, as I hope you're able  to resolve the issue.

As of now, 8 of mine are being stolen. People can't write their own content.

Never, at least I am not aware of this. However I have seen other hubbers have a copyright attached to theirs. I have not done this, but it seems like a good idea.

hI had 3 hubs stolen in 2 1/2 years.  I filed a DMCA complaint and those sites were taken down.

Just in the last two days, I've had 3 other hubs stolen. It's distressing to see that not only the content, but the formatting, photographs and even the ads were reproduced. I did have a copyright notice within one hub and that was reprinted too! I will be doing a DMCA report on them.

Unfortunately, hubpages never takes off the red copyright infringement notice from my statistics even after the stolen content is taken down. That is frustrating also.

I have had at least three or more stolen that I know of, and the only way I find out is through other hubbers.  I filed complaints, but never really know what the results were.  As you know, once the entire HubPages site was stolen or copied, every single hub on hubpages!  I really do not know how to prevent people from stealing on the Internet.  I had just joined HP and one of my very first poems was stolen right away, and I remember feeling confused and violated, as it is a special poem that I had written several years before joining HubPages and it was personal to only me and my childhood!

Recently 2 of my hubs have been stolen. I emailed the party I could get in contact with and emailed the host of the other website. it is tough to deal with. I cannot imagine having 11 stolen!

Out of my 154 hubs, only one has been blatantly copied just recently. If HubPages had pointed me in the direction to where I could report this to the proper 'authorities' I'd be a lot more appreciative. Thankfully it's just one Hub and it's not on a site that's going to get a lot of cash (it actually contains content from other places too, and has nothing original it seems).

That is a good question. As far as I know I do not think it's happened, but then it would take a lot of time to check on it.

I currently have 3 with the copied content tag, though I've battled with many others in the past. Unfortunately it's a common occurrence for HubPage users. It might feel like a compliment (that they think your content is good enough to steal) if it weren't for the traffic it was leeching from you.

I have 97 hubs and 4 of them are stolen. I filed  DMCA complaints and 0nly 2 hubs were taken down.
