We should have a National Hub Pages Convention or Gala in a city where we all can meet. Any ideas?

My suggestion is that everybody can come to Chicago from around the world and make this happen with the help of the hub pages staff. I will be the liaison for it happening in Chicago. Being formerly working for the city of Chicago, I know how to put on such an event. No one would be disappointed. Perhaps we can do this in Summer of 2015 or not later than 2016.

Sounds like fun, maybe you can drum up some support and make it happen.

Nice idea. I would like to see a map, world and/or USA that points out where hubbers live.
Chicago would be a big hop for me-- but there might be a lot of hubbers who could make it.

We can start small like an eastern, western, northern or southern region at different time periods and hubbers can make whichever region is convenient. A map is a great idea to see. The Hub Pages Administrators may be able to provide that.

Good idea. I really welcome this though I can't attend it for obvious reason that I am from India.  You keep on working and make it a successful event.  All the best.

Sounds like a great idea word55, though Chicago's too far for me too. As you say if they could have meetings in different regions around the world so everyone could attend. I think I read somewhere that there have been Hub Page conventions held in the past. Someone else may be able to tell you more on that.

Seems like several conventions could happen in different locations.  Great idea!  Don't let it die.

Thanks Word.  What is the next step?  You can plan a HP Convention for Chicago and surrounding cities and set the precedent for similar events in other regions.  Let's do it!
