I'm a newbie so I really want to see how my work is doing and if my improvements are attracting more traffic to my hubs, but the traffic hasn't been updated in over 16 hours. Is something wrong with the site?

There's clearly a glitch.  It's frustrating but I'm sure they'll fix it soon.  We might have to wait until after the weekend, however.

Have you connected your subdomain up to Google Analytics?

I'm sure there will be something in the learning Centre about how to do it, if you haven't already done so.

Google Analytics have something called 'real time stats' and you can actually watch your hubs getting hits as they happen.

I was going to mention that these long stats delays got me to go and start mucking around with analytics again. I'm going to go and check out that realtime thing right now. Thanks. smile

It is totally addictive. Can't resist checking where people are reading my hubs. One minute Alaska next minute New Zealand. It truly is nuts and kind of awe inspiring.

After seeing my traffic not updated all day yesterday, I finally decided to get on here and make a post about it! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I realized it wasn't updated when a newly published hub received a lot of comments, but still shows 1 view. Unlikely.

I did the same as you. Just thought I'd check here to see what was afoot. My views have been dropping since I switched to the new profile. Don't know if it is related? My views are holding steady on Google analytics just not showing up here? Weird. I am sure they will sort it out shortly.

Don't worry..... it could be a number of things including:

the traffic control tower has been hit by lightening....

    or

the great new ideas that drive traffic to the site have been found to be of no public interest...

    or

the lanes on the Golden Gate Bridge are blocked and traffic is being diverted away from the site..

    or

there just ain't no traffic of any consequence and as a result the hamster has died from boredom!

    or

    All that Paul said...  smile

I think that some one dropped the stats sorter onto the floor and they all spilled out so they are now picking them up and putting them back in,

I reported this in an older thread, here: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/100714? … ost2178965 and Matthew Meyer says they are checking into it.  I'm a stats addict too, so I'll be very happy when they get it sorted out.

I was just coming to the forums to post this and I saw this thread.

I noticed that my stats have remained the same since yesterday. It is disconcerting to me because I always look forward to my weekend spikes and now nothing to boost my ego big_smile

I also have some hubs that are just starting to recover or take off and wanted to see what they are like on weekends.

Hi Cardisa - I just posted this to the other thread on the non-updated HP stats, but in case you don't see it - if your HP account is hooked up to Google Analytics you can get up-to-the-minute (well, upto about half an hour ago) by going to the 'standard reporting' tab, then click on the arrow next to the dates top right hand corner, then click on today's date (or yesterday and then today if you want the whole weekend) and then click the 'Apply' button just under the calendar, and it'll give you quite accurate stats up to about half an hour ago.  It also has Real-Time stats if you click on the 'Home' tab (instead of the 'Standard Reporting' tab, at the top, and then click on 'Real Time' in the left-hand menu, and then click on 'Overview' in the list that opens up just under where it says 'Real Time'.  Beware, though - if you haven't already seen Real-Time, it is *addictive*! smile

Hi Redberry, I know about the Analytics stats and I do use it but I just am addicted to seeing the HP list of hubs with the red triangles tongue

Mine just updated! It may have been from publishing a hub, but it changed from 777 (What it's been at for the last 20 hours) to 797 big_smile

Same here...in fact mine says it's been 19 hours since an update.  I really wish they could get this fixed!

This reminds me of the old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".  Every time they start messing around with the updating and technology, this is what we get!

I had the same thing 19 hours since last update. Now it's changed to 14 minutes and the page views are way down?

Traffic has not been updated, but hubscores have updated?  I just noticed a 100 score on one of my hubs.  Perhaps the system is not working correctly. lol
