   Post something happy here, if so inclined. The more inane, the better. I'm happy because...
   
   I'm happy because my traffic is the best it's been in months.
   
   I'm happy because the temperature is below 80 degrees in the middle of the day for the first time in months.
   
   I'm happy because I don't have to worry about where my next meal is going to come from.

   I'm happy because my digital piano arrived last week and I have managed to assemble the stand etc and have started learning to play.
   
   Exactly 50 years ago, I accompanied a school friend to her piano lessons, had a go at playing and loved it. Then the teacher said I could not come back because I did not have a piano at home. My parents and I lived in just 2 rooms, so there would not have been space even if they somehow had been able to find the money.
   
   I was always sad about this. Now I feel I am back inside my 8-year-old self, finally doing something I really, really wanted to do.

          Thank you, Izzy. I'm so proud of her, maths and physics and a year early to boot, I was so crap at those subjects at school. Her homework has had me red faced at times (embarrassment, she knows more than me, not hard probably)
