My amazing milestone - 1 Million Pageviews!

   Holy Moly, I just saw my milestone posted on Hubtivity. 1,000,000 pageviews. I feel like it really wasn't that long ago that it was 10,000 pageviews, but I've been a member of Hubpages for over 2 years now and it is has become a big part of of my life and a significant contributor to my income.
   
   I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone here -- both the Hubpages founders and staff who put together such an amazing site and who are constantly tinkering with it to improve performance and maintain rigorous content standards. And also thanks to all the folks who hang out in the forums and provide great tips on getting the most out of Hubpages.
   
   I feel lucky to have found this place. For those of you who are new... please consider my milestone an achievable goal for yourselves. Getting traffic does take time, but if you stick with it and produce great content that people are searching for, you will do well here. It just requires a bit of patience.
   
   My top traffic getting tip -- CAPITALIZE ON YOUR BEST PERFORMING TOPICS! If you write a hub about a particular topic and it performs well, write about that topic some more. Find related topics to write about and interlink everything together. They will feed each other traffic.

      Well let me say congrats for making it to 1,000,000 views. I hope you continue to have success in life and on HubPages. Hopefully I will get there.
      Also thanks for the piece of advice about finding a topic that has a buzz and capitilizing on it with other hubs and linking them together. ;-)

   Helena, 100K is a great start. Just write more hubs and you will get there too! Take a look at your hubs that are getting you the most traffic and expand on those topics and 1M will be here before you know it

    Does it mean you're famous? I don't know, just wondering what the big thing is when someones page gets a million clicks or views. Did you make a lot of money on the way?

    Wow, I believe I'm your newest fan.  I just joined 8 days ago, currently have 220 total pageviews, and I'm slightly overwhelmed!  My highest viewed page is about cochlear implant, surprisingly.  Well, maybe not so surprisingly.  Here you are with a million pageviews in 2 years.  What a nice post this is; it's incredibly inspirational and helpful.  Thanks for the tips.
