Ok guys!  I have asked this question 3 or more times.  I have followed the instructions that people  have given me and it is not working.  I am trying to put in an Amazon capsule.  When I am in editing on the left side of the text there is an "insert capsule" I have tried to click (both left and right) to place the capsule where I want it.  It always goes to the bottom of the text just above the comment section.  There is a large gap in text to the comment section.  No one will see it.  I cannot - and I have tried to move it up - get it to move to where I want it.  It is either just above the comment section or at the top above the text.  Does any know of a contact phone number for hubpages so I can all someone.  This has developed in a pain in the A_ _.  Thanks Eva

Is this what you are trying to do?   (I haven't been following your earlier discussion.)

Once you make the big Amazon capsule (Image 1) then click on the arrow pointing to the right if you want to put up with the text capsule.

You can see in the screen shot I have two capsules and I chose to put it with the top one and align it with the picture.  I used the up arrow to tell it to go up to that capsule.

If you are using a different capsule for each section like I did above it should work unless there is a glitch in your browser.

        I am using Chrome.

Sorry if it doesn't help but it was the only thing I could think of.

It sounds like from your description you entered all the text in one box.  If that is the case you will need to add more text capsules and break the text up.

LCDWriter is exactly right, evamaries. You'll have to break your text into several different text capsules before you can move your products between them.

Once you have it right aligned with the right/left arrow, use the up arrow to put it next to the text (or the down arrow if the capsule was above the text you wanted it next to.

This may seem like a silly question but are you entering products into the amazon capsule you add and clicking the save button? I just looked at one of your hubs and all i saw was text. Maybe that one just didn't have an amazon capsule anyway but you have to enter the items manually, it doesn't do it automatically like an ebay capsule.

That would be why you have a big blank spot.

H thanks for the response.  That is because the capsule is down by the comment section and it can't be seen.  I drag and drop the capsule and cut and paste the html text into it that amazon provides.

You don't use the HTML text provided by Amazon.  You can only use that on your own blog.  Instead,  LOOK at the capsule and follow the instructions you see there - you'll see you can either enter a keyword, and the capsule will find products for you, or you can enter the ASIN number of the product you want to feature.

Also, as others have said, you must break your text up into several text capsules.  Don't put all your text in one.  Then you'll find you can move your Amazon capsule around using the green arrows in the top right hand corner.

        This is a good tutorial:

My guess is she is typing everything into one text capsule rather than making a bunch of little ones with a few sentences in each.  This also matches the description of where the Amazon capsule is going.  Looking at her published hubs this does seem to be the case.

I noticed that as well but she should still be able to move the amazon cap up to right align beside it though, right? I always have multiple capsules so I don;t know that I've tried but I don't see why it would make a difference. I think maybe they aren't being filled in...

It would only go up at the very top though, which is where she is describing it would go.  I think she wants it in-text but needs to make a bunch of little text boxes.

BTW, your profile picture makes me smile. :-)

      Thanks big_smile

I thought it was staying at the bottom. I don't know. Either way breaking the text up is always a good idea and add some pictures and video, too!

you can only allign an amazon capsule to the left hand side when you allign it with a picture capsule on the right.  In text capsules you can only allign amazon on the right hand side.....jimmy
