   My stats page shows it has not been updated in 17+ hours, yet my 'VIEWS EVER' has Dropped a good 20? (Before anyone calls in the Psychologist, I'm not stressing it :-) ) ... just wondering how 'view that have already happened can disappear? Is this a technical error or something?

      I see, what you mean, the same thing happened to me, I just checked.  I am guessing it is some sort of technical problem.  Mine look like the numbers are down about 75 from last night.   Hmmmmmmm!  -Rose

      My stats are dropping too, I noticed it today. I don't understand it, it should go up instead of down.

         That's what I thought! This is the first time I've ever seen this happen. I can take hubber score plummeting and hub scores dropping, but views that have already been viewed? :-(

   I don't know dearest Cat, but hubber Carol7777 just asked the same in a question.  I hope the problem gets fixed!!!  Someone answered her question saying that is must be Friday as it seems the stats are stuck again?

   Views, like scores, seem to always be doing something weird. Eventually it gets fixed. Just use analytics and go by it instead.

   For a while, my views page said I had negative visits from certain hubpages that supposedly had referred visitors.  This was a month or two ago, but I was scratching my head as to how it is possible to have a negative view.  How can one take away what's already been looked at? haha

         Ah, but how do you take away what hasn't been seen?  Negative views? That would imply that more were taken away than existed in the first place, and that's besides unseeing what was already seen. hahaha

      Mine are around 23 hours overdue...this seems to happen every 10 days or so and usually on a Friday...it's a tech glitch, obviously, but irritating nonetheless.

    I had the same problem! without going and revealing my traffic amount it went from having a 59 at the end of it about two or three hours ago to having a 33 at the end of it all for a while and now has a 37 at the end................................ but the screen says its not been updated in over 24 hours............... how does that kinda thing happen?!

       Ha ha... yes, I guess the little age difference 'tween us might be a bit noticeable. Gremlins and well, when I was a kid it was just 'Bugs Bunny'... I guess by the time you came around it was 'the Bugs Bunny show' ... lol. Do you know who Popeye is? lol

             This is somewhat off topic (not that it already isn't. Guilty as charged, your honor) but I have a Popeye comic book in which Olive wants to be beautiful and old Seahag steps in and gives her some magic facial cream and then Olive becomes beautiful. Of course there's always a catch. It only lasts a certain amount of time before Olive becomes ugly again. Your picture reminded me of that!

                What? I've never heard of such a thing... that sounds awesome!!! I always thought Olive was a little dorky... I'd have loved to have seen that... and it sounds a little like a spin off from Cinderella (Pumpkin at midnight) and/or The Little Mermaid... legs for her voice? ... interesting... I should try to find that on eBay or something... heck, maybe they should do a movie?!

    This is such an important tool for hubbers to use.  I check my stats and if I see a hub that normally does good suddenly tank and not recover, I revamp the hub.  This is going from a monthly thing to a weekly thing.
    
    It's quite frustrating!

       Yes, I agree! That's why I posted the forum. I'm not psychotic about it or anything, but it's nice to see our numbers rising... or how much their rising and where they aren't, we know can afford some attention. It's certainly frustrating to say the least. Will HP gives us back what they took away and what we would've normally earned today? That's what I'm wondering?
