I am so excited to share a happy news that I have got a communication from HP regarding my first payout.  They've intimated me that $ 55.69 has been issued in my name.  I have news from PayPal too regarding this payment.  I am so happy on my earnings, which is the first one too.  I thank all my followers, readers and well wishers.  Hope to earn more in the coming days.

Well done, that is really brilliant news. Be sure to print off the paypal receipt and take a picture of you holding it. When you get down days, take a look at it and remind yourself of your achievement. Hope this payout will be the first of many for you :-)

Well done on getting that first payment and I hope there are many more to come.
I'm on HP quite a while now and since November 2011 I've earned the grand total of 42.38$ to this day, so I'm still waiting for that first payment. Must be doing something wrong that I don't see.

This took nearly six months since my enrollment with Ad sense.  But to get confirmation from them, it took nearly 11 months. Thank you for the compliments.

I am so happy for you the waiting period is quite long a almost a year For 55 bucks how many articles did you write to get that. Approximate 4.8 dollars a month I bums panhandle more than that good thing I'm here for practice especially since I tried to trick the rabbit and got my AdSense account suspended idk why. I would rather have critiquing than pennies from this. site. However that 55 still extra easy money right

It is mainly from viewership.  I am earning a little from eBay also. But Amazon doesn't give me anything. So I stopped adding it.

So what I gather is despite Google coming down hard on Hubpages and Squidoo etc in recent times, you still can earn some coin under a year and not wait 2 years or more ..? ... interestin and motivating if that's the case

    Hello Hackslap

You are right, we can earn some dollars in spite of these restrictions. If we work hard, we can gain more.A hubber with 100 hubs has good revenue potentialities here. Thanks for your comments.

It looks like you have worked very hard. I know that a lot of people get discouraged by the restrictions and and rules, but you have proved that positive persistence pays.

    Dear Rochelle Frank.

Thanks for your compliments.  You are right that I have worked hard. I know a lot of people returned from here finding HP an unattractive platform with losing traffic and less earning. But I didn't bothered about it all and instead worked hard hoping I can do something on this platform and gain name, fame and some revenue sooner or later. Finally it paid. It is true that patience pays. Positive persistence did pay. This is to motivate other hubbers that I posted this thread here.

Keep up the good work and the improvement. It is hard enough for many of us who have English as a first language. You are an encouragement to many.

It is one of the few things I can do and not be judged because of some of my life mistakes. I would like to be a very prolific Author on day. I do not desire to me famous I just want the acknowledged.

Hi sunilkunnoth2012, congratulations! Getting that first payout is the biggest challenge. It will get much easier from here. I started my attempts 5 years ago and quickly learned that it is NOT easy to earn money writing online content. When your hard work starts to pay off you appreciate it all the more. You should be proud for trying and beginning to succeed at this. I know I am. Keep up the good work and more success will come.

You're very welcome. I would just say don't get discouraged too easily and if you love writing anyway, just keep writing for the joy of it. It is my #1 hobby. "Success" by online writing standards is not going to be a very large amount of money but just a little something each month - side income well deserved considering your efforts.
