    I am SOOOOOO excited. I got an offer from the Examiner newspaper to write about climate change!! This is something I've studied and been passionate about for years, and I would be writing for the online Examiner! Plus I have been "unlaid" off my art teaching job, I only lost one class and get to keep teaching art to kids too!!

      Misha, thanks for asking about my son. I saw him today and the wound is healing well. The bullet went horizontal from his ear to the top of his head, about a 1/2 inch then bounced off his skull. His eardrum is shattered, and they need to do some work to see if they can get his hearing back.
      The day after his job fired him because he didn't show up for work, even though he called, so that's pretty rank on their part.
      He looks pretty good and sounds alright though.
