I am SOOOOOO excited. I got an offer from the Examiner newspaper to write about climate change!! This is something I've studied and been passionate about for years, and I would be writing for the online Examiner! Plus I have been "unlaid" off my art teaching job, I only lost one class and get to keep teaching art to kids too!!
That is such great news, Dorsi!!!!!! I am so happy for you!!! Congrats!!!!!
Thanks everybody for crossing everything lol.
Misha, thanks for asking about my son. I saw him today and the wound is healing well. The bullet went horizontal from his ear to the top of his head, about a 1/2 inch then bounced off his skull. His eardrum is shattered, and they need to do some work to see if they can get his hearing back.
The day after his job fired him because he didn't show up for work, even though he called, so that's pretty rank on their part.
He looks pretty good and sounds alright though.
Go Dorsi! I have everything crossed for you...fingers, legs, eyes...I think that's all I can cross. Good luck!
I knew a bloke who had crossed testicles - but that was apparently pretty damn painful.
Congrats, Dorsi. Sounds like you'll have everything you love.
It's NEVER as bad as it seems,
Glad to see your doing your part to turn the economy around, Dorsi. Congratulations!
Congratulations, Dorsi! Good luck to you! This is great news for you! You deserve it!

Yeah!!!!! Wrote 'The End' a couple of hours after midnight! This project has taken several years, the book has been split in two, a new beginning and end written and a new storyline threaded through it. I'm not sure I would have started, if I'd known all this when I started lol!...

So I've worked on my novel for the past 3 years, finally buckled down and finished it this year. Just recently published it on Amazon Kindle, and I'm so very excited about it.
