I remember this was asked some time ago but I can't find the discussion.
Is it possible to change our sub-domain username ie. from luisegonzalez.hubpages.com to XYZ.hubpages.com and will this be reflected in search engines? In other words, will the name change show in search engines results instead of our old username.
No. I would change mine if I could. You need to start an entire new account to do it.
You have never been able to change your username on HubPages. I know of two cases where it was allowed, in very special circumstances, but that was a long time ago.
I can't see why you'd want to change it - the URL's of all your Hubs would change so they'd lose all their rank in the search engines.
You cannot change your user name but you can open a second acct. and choose another name. Go to the following link: http://hubpages.com/faq/
In the contens on the right, click on "Account Administration - Publishing" and scan down to number 5.
I've thought about changing mine to Spunky The Wonder Hubber. But I haven't made a final decision yet.
Now that's an interesting statement... Which do you think are mine, pray tell.

I would like to hear your ideas in regards to changing the name of the "Christmas" season to something more appropriate so as to lose the concept of gaining converts and power in the name of Jesus.Perhaps, we should go back to the name, "Yule"

Quick announcement! Due to performance issues that we believe may be related to lingering penalties on the domain from a previous owner, we’ve decided to try an experimental name change with the family and parenting-themed Network Site. The new URL and site branding will use the name and logo...
