I've just noticed that my HS has dropped below the previous score. It's natural to expect it to drop but not below the previous score. Come on!!
Hello,
Not being rude, my second hub I am STILL working on. It driving me nuts! Yet, I keep researching.
“The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.”
― Randy Pausch, The Last Lecture

Whats so rude about brick walls - lol. But much appreciated the blessing I was reading about Jerico. Maybe that could be my next hub.
Hello,
I am weird. You are welcome. Good luck! Have a Bless night
I've had that happen, and there can be numerous reasons for it. Spend more time interacting here and try to write more hubs. I noticed you have been here for 3 years but only have produced 18 articles. Perhaps writing more and becoming more involved here will help. Good luck.
After passing the boot camp I wrote another article that was not so great I supposed and it wasn't featured, and my HS dropped. I do wonder what exactly that HS is for but oh well...
Stay active on site, write good content comment on hubs. Don't go crazy over scores like some of us. It is beyond your control. Learning center explains it in general. Good luck.
Yea, I'm over it now. Just keep hubbing along.
Hello Literal,
Sorry for delay. Kudos! I killed my second hub. I am doing a new topic. I learned from the last one. That all the matters. Part of the reason for my delay. May your day be Bless

My hub score always go up and down. I can´t control it so, I just do what I can and that is interacting and writing hubs.
Good spirit, Alberts. That's what we can do. Keeping interacting.
Hello Ms. Albrerts,
I am sorry for delay. Good spirits! Kudos for that! May your day be Bless

is the hubber score the one I see on my profile page? or is it the one I see at the bottom of my stats page? too many scores!
It is that you see on your profile. Stats page shows scores for individual hubs and its average. Profile score shows your average of published hubs + some score added towards your activity on hubpages.

I've gone from a 94 to an 82 in less than two weeks having done no activity until a couple of days ago. When I started this session my score was an 83! What on earth *gives*???

Every time I hop hubs my hubber score plummets. I would think that the time and care I put into this would improve my score. Is this a fluke or am I not doing a good job when hopping so my score falls?

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they fluctuate so much. What's the point? Am I supposed to use these scores to tell me...

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...

A month ago I announced some updates to HubScore: raw traffic is deemphasized, reader satisfaction is emphasized, and overall, the scores are a more accurate reflection of the quality of Hubs than they used to be. Today, I'd like to talk about the subsequent update to Hubber Score — the score...
