Is Traffic Starting To Come Back After Latest Panda Update?

I see signs that Traffic is Starting To Come Back After the Latest Panda?  It is hard to confirm since HubPages is not providing traffic stats during their changeover to a new data provider.  Has anyone else noticed a recovery in traffic after the steep Panda related drop off?

I keep thinking I see signs of traffic coming back, but I think it's just wishful thinking ...

I'm seeing a little bit of an improvement on my accounts, but one of them has started dropping in traffic slightly yesterday after having regained a slight bit. I think it's going to take a little bit of time to know for certain if the traffic is coming back. What's funny is that one of my hubs had been doing really well, even got some links from reputable sites organically. If that one continues to plunge, I'll know Google doesn't even follow their own guidelines.

At any rate, I'm seeing a slight increase in traffic, with the exception of one account kind of an up and down thing. At least the traffic isn't continuing to drop, though, and it's slightly going up.

WriterFox, what is your opinion on potentially disavowing links, if need be? Thanks so much.

          'NateB11' is 'Writer Fox'? Interesting.

No, I don't think so. WriterFox seems to live in Israel. Maybe he's sleeping right now. I was just putting out a question because I know he reads the forums.

Ah--it looked to me as though you were replying to 'NateB11', but addressing him as 'Writer Fox'. I understand.

What's funny is one of my Bubblews articles went up in the SERPs and I'm making money over there at that site from the sudden raise in rank of that article. It always brings me in some traffic but now I expect it to speed up my Bubblews earnings quickly.

My traffic is up a little, and the site is fast with Chrome. Are things looking up somewhat?

Looking at Google Analytics I see no improvement.  Last time it took about 3 or 4 weeks for the dust to settle.

If anyone is having an uptick from Panda, I'd very much doubt that it's due to recovery.   It's far too soon.

Google said this particular Panda update would roll out over 10 days, so it's probably not even finished yet!

Remember, stats have been delayed a few times recently, so if you're seeing an increase it may just be that they've updated.

Also, we've all lost traffic in the last few days due to the server downtime.

Nothing - in fact mine are worse. Sorry to seem negative but I've taken a massive dive in number. Were talking 75% now.

Mine is down another 1000 or so since the numbers updated, but besides all the blue arrows I did notice a half dozen with double red arrows, and a lot more than that with singles. To me that indicates that the Panda update was just a rearranging of the search results, and HP articles will not be "buried" on page 6.
It will probably take time for those other articles to work their way up in the SERPs. So what? Based on these early results this Panda does not seem to be a HP killer.

I haven't had a particularly large decrease in views (maybe 10%? a little less than that is more accurate) but I did have a slightly noticeable drop on my main account.

I realized it was because, after a week on the site,  two of my transferred Squidoo articles is stealing traffic from one of my top earners!

You see, all of my Squidoo articles were just some of my most popular ones from HubPages that I rewrote form scratch. With Squid's lower ranking, I thought I could get two page one for the same topic without hurting my originals.

I never expected HP to scoop them up!

Right now, I think I'm okay with it and will leave them. They're already earning more than they ever did on Squidoo. The other five aren't doing so hot though.

I'm seeing a lot of older Hubs getting a small but significant traffic boost though. It's interesting.

It's showing that I have increased traffic, but when I look at my numbers--no. I've also made absolutely nothing today for the first time since I started here.

    Huge bummer.

I believe the stats have gone backward to what they were several days ago. Earlier, they had updated.

Yes, and I'm reading less views in a week than for one day. Stats aren't right yet. Been using Google Analytics.

    See  http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/125399
HP traffic has reverted to what it has been over the last 6 months, around 1.1M US Pageviews. The surge in traffic associated with the addition of thousands of lenses has been reversed, with a pull-back of traffic to HP's 'quota'. Today's update of Quantcast Traffic confirms the pull-back. Lots of winner and losers, who now share the same size pie (quota) with many, many authors (new and old).

We have seen this before with Panda updates; a sudden drop in traffic, unusual results in the serps and then eventually after a few weeks everything settling down..

I am seeing some of my hubs that usually only get a handful of hits seeing marked increases while my usual traffic pullers are struggling. This HAS HAPPENED before with Panda updates..

Things settle after a few weeks; its as if google are testing other sites and pages to see how they perform before they finally settle the serps down.......

As Douglas Adams once said - "Don't Panic"...... well not yet anyway.....
