HubPages on facebook posts?

   I just stumbled upon the HubPages facebook page and I saw some of my hubs were on it. It was a pleasant surprise.  How did they get there?  Can anyone post on the HubPages facebook page?

      Hi Catherine,
      
      The official HubPages Facebook Page is maintained by HP Staff, so it means we saw your Hubs and thought they were worth sharing.
      
      There are a few Facebook Groups maintained by Hubbers where you can submit and share your own Hubs, though.

         Do we have to be a member of Facebook to have our hubs posted on the HP site?  If not, how do we check to see if ours are posted?

            No you don't have to be a member of Facebook to have your hubs featured on HubPages' Facebook page.  The team selects which hubs to feature. You can't post your links there. 
            
            You can post your links on your own Facebook page or join one of the many groups that are out there.

      Anyone who is a Facebook member and reads your Hub can click on the 'f', if they see it, to share it on  Facebook.

         Yes, that's true Examiner, but our groups are not just for posting links. They're for encouraging members, helping them solve problems and giving them tips for making their work easier or better. It's a writer's group, not just a link-dropping group.

         Is the correct FB page that others are posting on:
         https://www.facebook.com/Hubpages.com
         
         It took me awhile to find it, as there are a lot of other "inactive" facebook pages related to hubpages. I posted a link on the FB page for Hubpages (URL that I posted above) and it appeared to work but the post only showed while I was logged in to Facebook. Once I logged out, I no longer saw my post.
         
         What experiences have others have (good or bad) with posting on this or other Hubpages facebook pages?

            Yes this is the page, but you are not supposed to post your own links there. The staff chooses what to feature.
            
            But yes, depending on how interesting your article seems, if you post it somewhere on Facebook, it is possible that someone will read it, and maybe even share it. It depends on how big a group you join, and how relevant the topic is to them.

   It isn't closed so yes.   There are several groups on FB for Hub Pages writers such as The Writers Door and a Hub Pages Group that you have to be approved to join.

   Wow!  Under what rock have I been hiding to not realize that HP has an official FB page??!!

    Timetraveler:  It looks that way.  I just logged out and tried to share one of my hubs.  I had to sign in or join.  Facebook doesn't let you do anything if you aren't a member and signed in.

       I am a member and I share all my writings mostly on facebook always. But I have very few followers. My G+ account is okay nowadays.
