Introducing myself

   Hi all,
              I joined in January and decided it was time to properly introduce myself. I am new to writing/blogging and I thought Hubpages would be a good place to get experience. This seems to be a great community with a lot of support and resources. I've really enjoyed checking this place out and look forward to being part of this community and contributing to it anyway I can.
   I'm writing mostly about entertainment and the paranormal (usually when  they're one and the same).
   I hope to make some lasting friendships here and look forward to meeting everyone.

    I am in the same boat. I joined last month as i have wanted to get myself writing for a long time and saw hubpages as a great base for this to hopefully encourage me to take it more seriously.

    Welcome!  You will make great friends here, even with hubbers who sometimes disagree with you.  That's one of the hidden benefits.  That's how we grow and become, not just better writers, but better people.
    
    One tip: Read  some of the latest hubs posted during the week.  It's a great way to meet new hubbers and not just the ones in your feed.  It's also a way to encourage new hubbers.  We all needed that support when we started here.  http://hubpages.com/hubs/latest/
