I am checking in on my hubs in between customers here at my gift shop. Sold 4 vintage beer steins just now ! I hope this keeps up as last Winter about killed my shop so I need extra sales just in case it is terrible here in Ohio like last year.
I used to try to work on a hub at least once to week to keep them fresh, but I'm afraid to touch them now with these cranky filters. I only have 3 or 4 that are featured now out of over 40 Very discouraging.
Most of mine are now at the half-circle and they will likely stay that way because too many times when I tried to update them to get the full-circle, I'd get the empty circle IF, there were an easy fix as to why I wouldn't mind. But, the jumping through hoops trying to figure the one word or phrase... that they didn't like is just too much work.
@GiftsByDiana I hear ya, I haven't been active (trying to change that) and edited my 6 top viewed hubs earlier this week. Now the hub that got the most views in the last 30 days is "unfeatured due to quality" when it was featured prior to editing, and the only thing I did was witch out Amazon ads for eBay because Amazon no longer pays out in my state.
Additionally, the hub score for that one dropped to the 50s too, which makes no sense because it's got the 2nd highest views ever out of all my hubs.
I have a 2700+ word, programming code hub that routinely racks up 500+ visits a month these days. Some mturk just piddled on it and gave it a hubscore of 59.Lots of luck me seeing HP putting that hub in the Discover More Hubs sections...Not to mention my paranoia re: my profile score dropping below...
I'm always curious what prompts people to start writing blogs. Is there something on their mind they need to get off their chest? Do they hope to make money off their thoughts? Or maybe they just want to share their expertise with the world? Whatever the reason, I'm glad they do it,...
Okay, so after we enable someone to do something, the ENABLE them to bring it to the forefront, find out we all have just be duped, and then ENABLE them to makes us look stupid for believing in them....And, then What? They are enabled, once again by closing their threads to reply? ...
