Yes we are moving right along Denise
Living room all painted one coat, hall and half of one Bedroom in only 5 hours, I used to have my own business painting and wall papering, so I paint pretty fast . It is looking like a shore house with every stoke of the brush Very excited and hated to drive home and leave the new house. We will be going back tomorrow to continue working. Going to change all kitchen cabinets to all white
I have two offers on the house I live in now. so that is a good thing.
I have to get into my comment and reply to all my wonderful friends or they might get mad

Happy Superbowl Sunday everyone! Try to have fun today, but don't drink and drive!
I hear it's cold all over the US? Hmmm... I'll try to send some sunshine your way. As for me, I have my bathing suit on and I'm on my way to South Beach. It's 80 degrees, a bit cloudy but it doesn't look like it will rain. Have to take my chances!

We have a hubcamp here in South Beach next weekend. I don't think I'll go since we also have the food and wine festival and it will be packed. Plus, I don't think anyone I know will show up.
Wish you were all here!Lucky you. I was almost at VA Beach today--got as far as Norfolk and the theatre--saw a movie. Beach and hubcamp or food and wine festival sounds more fun.

Hello everyone! I hope you all are staying warm out there, and I just want to say, I'm happy that the Packers won tonight. Not that I'm a green bay fan or anything. I just always thought Aaron Rodgers was a class act for how he handled the whole Favre situation in Green Bay, so he deserved this win if you ask me. Here's hoping for a future dynasty for him. Go Pack!

I a couple of month I will have the same here Have have you been? I have been down the shore on weekends painting and all the good things getting ready to move in. Have now 2 offers on this house im in now.
The place is starting to look like a shore house . Wife is going with all light and sea shore colors and when spring come will paint the outside. Taking all cabinets out and replacing them will all white also. So it will be bright and cheerful, just what the doctor ordered.
Take care and get ready to sail in the summer.Wow! That's awesome Mark! Make sure you take pictures and post them here for us! Sounds like the place rocks!

Ah, finally home Klara. I took today off to go to shore and paint second coats of paint in the rooms. Ordered carpet measure for sat.
Yes I will take you up on that offer Klara my plans are have on home down the shore for summer and one in Florida for the winter. Lots of my family do that and with no mortgage on shore home I will be able to save some bucks to do it again, but in Florida.
I heard it was only in the 70's today The wind is blowing so bad here Klara. About 40- 45 MPH and very cold , but they said Sunday here will be close to 50 Hooray !!!

Marky--it doesn't matter that your beachhouse isn't a mansion--too many rooms to keep clean and furnished anyway. A place on the ocean! Wow! That is something...I envy you. That was always my dream.

Thanks for the congrats! I am a happy camper now. I never thought in a million years all these great things would happen that I have wished for all my life. So, I guess by helping myself with giving up the drink my world and everyone else will now be a better place:)

Did you finish painting and decorating?No not yet Klara, but getting there. It is tough being 50 mile from new house but weekends we give it heck. Not much longer . Having home depot measure Saturday for new carpets and I will lay the pergo and put in the new Kitchen cabinets and them ready to move the furniture.

Hi Marky, how are you tonight? I just got on...long day at work today. One of our patients escaped!!! Not a good thing, but he didn't get very far before a couple of staff caught up with him and persueded him to come back to the hospital. It's been a long week and I am glad to be off. I was stuck doing a 1:1 with a 300# psychotic patient on Wednesday. Uggggghhhhhh. Sometimes I would love to just call in! But, I don't. Anyway, that's behind me and now I have 4 days off !
We got snow today and they called school off again. Gee I wish they could handle it like up NOrth. My nephew was home, wasted day and teh snow was melting by noon.

It is really cold up here, but they say Sat and Sun will be in the high 40's. That's a plus and a sign of boating on the way:)
I have to work Saturday and then will go to shore and work on house, but after I take wife to Cape May to see her Step Mom in which is now on hospice and not doing well at all, so I had better get her there (you know why) I worked in a hospital for 10 years and took care of my Dad for 2 1/2 weeks when they sent him home and hospice came in. It is very said to see and her father is not in real good shape either so I may have to put working on house on hold for this weekend. We will see.

Take care Marky and don't work too hard. It's important to take care of family and loved ones. I used to work hospice as a nurse. Then I got fired. Yes, FIRED. It's a long story, but all about politics. I loved hospice work and felt I was gifted to work with those who were making a transition from this life into the next. However, the Director of the company had other motives and plans.
After I was fired I made the decision that I would never again work hospice for money. I haven't. I took care of my mother when she was dying of cancer and I took care of my husband when he was dying of cancer. I still consider it a privelage to be at the bedside of one who is transitioning from this world.

Good morning everyone. It is 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning in NC and a cold (40 something) morning. Looks like it will be a sunny day, though. Heading on the road early morning with my nephew. He is doing so well in school right now. Big achievement. Got his progress report cards and we have a date with an IHOP (small thrills here in a rural town )
