Just put together a sofa bed from IKEA. We're getting so good at this, we should do this for a living!

...hmmmm.... Nah... just a couple of frames for family photos. I only had a couple of pictures framed (of me and my husband, and another one with my parents when I was a baby) and he fell bad about not having any pictures of his family. So... there I go... looking for a frame!
I hate having frames, and decor that will require DUSTING! I especially hate it over the piano, which collects dust like crazy! Oh well...

120 miles to work and back Linda spent the day on the beach with my daughter and her friends:) Water temp now 72 degrees.

Up too late last night. Well, it is already supper time. Been cleaning and cooking all afternoon. Now time to enjoy. My nephew actually baked the dessert tonight, with A LOT of guidance. Brownies from a box, Congrats Cara:)
My normal bedtime is 1-1;30 every night but then I am up wide awake at 3-3:15. has been like that for years. Go back to sleep after having some cookies or something and right back to bed BUT up again within 2 hours at the most
Maybe the salt air will make me sleep better I hope:)

Hey Mark, it's been really slow here today. I haven't seen any of the usual winners.
It's been raining a little bit in the afternoons here, but not enough to cover the damage of the drought.
In-laws coming in tomorrow at 2pm from Spain. I'm very excited, but also exhausted from cleaning, organizing, and assembling IKEA furniture. When they get here, they'll crash from jetlag, and we'll crash from exhaustion! Still have a bunch of things to do tomorrow before they arrive.

Just finished # 205 hub. Linda is down in Cape May till Wednesday visiting her dad and I will meet her on Wed. Night at the shore.
It's getting close Klara and the young girl wants settlement within 30 days. Bank approved my short sale and the price she offered. Short sale paperwork took since February. a very long process Klara and thank God HUD approved it and thank God I have a buyer with this market today. I'm not making any money on the deal, BUT I do have a home by the sea that is Paid in full and that makes Marky very Happy. NOW to buy that Boat:)A boat too?! Wow! Mark, you don't stop. Do you?!

I had a pretty good rest last night after a simple supper of soup (always good for the soul) and sandwich. I took my nephew to the airport on MON. to visit cousins in Minn. Now I can concentrate better on what I need to do re: work. It is frustrating, though-not hearing back from people and others being on vacation. At least I know it wasn't me-just heard she (manager) is after another nurse now-wrote her up and is starting her 'papertrail' to get her booted out. This woman is a bully and psycho and the director of nursing is backing her up all the way. I was so disheartened yesterday.
But, yes-I will prevail. I will take care of myself and make a valiant effort to be gainfully employed before July 13th.
Thanks for the support! Love you...This lady is brutal. It seems like she only targets certain people to fire. I don't know how someone could be so nasty and evil. I know everything will work out for you Denise.

Sounds good, Cara-mom's pooped out and trying to go to bed early...w/o much luck. Uncle Chuck called. But, at least it wasn't with any bad news,
Said everything is going well. Will touch base on the w/e I will be in a computer lab doing mandatory education stuff all day tomorrow to meet my deadline for June 25th (sat.) @ Mark - went aboard the 31' sailboat again today. I can't step away so easily!! She's a '69 with a fibreglass hull, full keel, steel cradle, 6'2" inside clearance and soooo much more!!! She's needs a bit of love -- wood needs working, new paint job and new deck are in order but her masts and riggings are all within the last 2 years!!! I'm in love!!! But with everything, the seller is the hitch -- he's not so motivated to sell and is waiting for the right purchaser. I don't have the feeling that he feels that it's me. Oh well, she's a sweet deal, but with work, I don't have a lot of time to play on the water. Anyhow, I can dream, right???

I can see you behind the helm now. Beth what is wrong with the seller. You are perfect for that boat. As long as the hull is fiberglass you have it made. If from thre guunels up are wood they are repairable. Do you know about the mechanics of the engine or is someone checking it out for you? I have never owned a sail boat but have had many power boats from 12 foot up to 47 foot. I learned a lot from my Dad about boats.
Is the cabin inside in pretty good shape? and if not it nothing that paint and varished and a little sanding can't fix. I wish you luck on this beauty Beth

Key West sounds great.There is a lady in our park that is selling her double wide and all the contents inside. Linda goes down there to look around and come back saying the lady (Italian) owns 5 homes in Florida and is selling one in Daytona Beach. She said she paid over 30,000 and selling for 14,000. So Marky is thinking should I buy or not? It is a double wide like I have here now at the shore, but thinking < Beings I hate snow, 6 month Florida and 6 months Jersey Shore. Now to talk Linda into it

Yep...That is the problem with why Linda will not do this. My Daughter will be getting married and having children of her own and Linda doesn't want to miss any of it. or do I but it is really not that far away. both of my parents have passed away and Linda Mom as well, But her dad is still living but not in the best of health. So I guess I answered my own question. Florida will always be there but others may not, I guess I will have to wait till the time is right.
I still can come and see you though if I ever take a vacation down to sunny Florida if that is OK with youThank you Klara:)

my son and daughter are coming to shore today and they are going to the beach to get some rays: Not me, Marky heart can't take all those bikinis on the beach. so I better stay away:)
Everyone's welcome to join me on the sailboat although it's a bit small at 31'! But hey, we can get cozy and have some fun!
@ Mark -- the engine is original but it's been kept in great shape. Bearings are new and sound smooth. He winterizes it properly and its always under cover before the winter begins. The hull is fibreglass - excellent condition too. The deck needs work. The wood is original but beautiful as well as the trim. It's all original but nothing that a bit of hard work and polish can't fix. The masts and rigging are all brand new. The jibe's brand new too plus he has covers that hand between the masts for shade (can't remember the term for them ) As for the cabin, the head is tiny but usable, sleeps four and is a bit of a tight squeeze in the sense that if you're taller than 6', you might develop a hunch back.
The bilge doesn't leak but the wood around it does. I think that with some sealant, it would stop it but he kinda laughed when I asked him about where exactly it leaks. I'm not sure if he told me the truth. Also, there are no lights for night sailing.
I don't think that I'll be getting her though. He's 90% sure that I can't handle her on the water or with her maintenance, which is pure horse pucky. Oh well.... maybe I'll invest my money in a car instead.... went and tried a 700 series BMW --

That is a shame because you sound like you really loved that boat. I have bought boats with my Dad that needed tons of work and we made them beautiful. The old boats are classics and nice to restore too,

Are you interested in Power Boats or just sail boats? Like I said I know nothing about sailing but lots on boating and Navagating. I took many courses on that although the car sounds great but boating is more Relaxing and you can sleep over on them right. Think about the relaxing part and you may change your mind and stick to buying a boat instead of car:)

@ Mark -- the guy gave me the creeps. The boat was cradled and I had to climb up the ladder while wearing my tennis skirt and top... that sums up his lack of class... or his need to peak... seriously, he was creepy. Very controlling and kept trying to talk me out of it and even tried to scare me with boating stories. I got even though with my questions and he couldn't answer them all. He kept dodging my questions but I kept persisting. Maybe that 's why he decided he didn't want to sell to me.
I think I scared him. I have a funny feeling that she'll still be up for sale next season. She's beautiful, but few buyers are looking for an older sailboat. There are many at the club that are larger and in better shape. I liked this one because of the full keel, steel cradle and fiberglass hull. She's easy to sail!!! Ugh! Oh well, I'll just keep looking....

You had better go to sleep sweetie and get your rest as I am doing the same shortly. Im at shore house and have to drive in into work 60 mile and get up ealier than the norm.
Yes there are many great buys on so many boats so I would just take your time and get the perfect on for a perfect girl ok.
