I'm going to bed also. It is after midnight and I am very tired. Took the dog for an extra long walk this evening-instead of the usual 30 minutes we doubled it! Boy--we were all beat by the time we got home-even the dog, Have a good day/evening.Wow you seem to have had one huge spurt of energy ... Job interview went well, all in all, BUT not going to take it. Not feeling at all comfortable with the job expectations-driving all over the rural countryside, covering four counties, (gas prices being what they are), and having to be on call in which means going out in the middle of the night trying to find these homes...that's not to mention what will happen during hurricane season. I was so excited and now I am discouraged once more. I wish I had more medical experience so I could just transition onto a med floor, but that is not my area of expertise. Bummer.Don't be discourage Denise. Something will come up when least expected. You will see.. You will find the right job that will make you happy. Good for you that you didn't take that job. It sounds like so much expected out of you and going out in the middle of the night. I know you wouldn't like that too much. I know I would not. That's why I never went for funeral Dir. because of being on call and getting up for a call in the middle of the night with bad weather etc. Hang in there it will come:)

Mark, I had my years of Queensryche and other heavy metal bands, but I've moved on to other rock genres ever since. It's not that I don't appreciate that type of music, but I have different tastes now, and listening to Anthrax doesn't do much for me anymore. I can appreciate any music that is of good quality, from the ol' man Willy Nelson to Nine Inch Nails. If the music speaks to me, it's good.Hello Klara on this HOT!!! Day in NJ. How are you doing with the heat ( Team)and your (weather)? Yeah my taste for music changed too, I used to listen to the Turtles,Bee Gees Beatles and all that kind of music. What I listen to just gets my heart pumped up. even though I can't understand one word of what they are singing unless I read the lyrics around with the song. It amazes me how these musicians can play, such as going up and down those frets and one end to the other on the keyboards, not to say how many calories the Drummer is burning up!!!!

Heat game in an hour. We will be staying at home with our eleven year old eskie. She's a doll, and loves being the center of attention.
My husband got into a car accident this morning. I had to go to the rescue because he got nervous and the 20 year old girl who hit him was a total mess, crying, screaming. Everyone was okay, and the insurance is paying for everything and the rental. It's just that when you have a day like that, the best thing to do is STAY HOME. I'm turning in keys to the classroom tomorrow. Wooooohoooooo... Summer VACATION! In laws will be visiting in a couple of weeks, then it's off to Key West, St. Augustine, Cape Canaveral, Disney, etc. We'll see if I last that long! First off, I am sorry for your husbands accident but very glad he is okay. That is the most important Klara. Take good care of him and enjoy your game and the little one too.

Cardelean is counting the days as well--Cara is my daughter and teaches 4th grade. You see her on this thread occasionally when she has a spare moment. She has a 2 & 4 yo at home and my granddaughter is out of preschool now b/c mommy is home. But, they are both going to attend vacation bible school for a week or so... Hey... Maybe that is where I need to send J If he wasn't so old (teen) I would send him off to camp Well, at least he will be at the hospital volunteering again this summer for four weeks (I hope). And, my brother in MN also invited him out for a week to visit his cousins so that will help.

Turning in the keys today. Yay! Summer's here! And my house looks like a dump, which means I'll have to spend two weeks just cleaning up and putting all things in place.

Mark, you need to determine whether it is hardware or software. If it's hardware, you need to see if it's the motherboard or another circuit board. Motherboards are too expensive to replace. Better off just purchasing a new computer.
If its software, then back up your work, and format the hard drive. You will have to reinstall all your applications and information.
BUT
before you format your hard drive, run a virus scan (a full and complete one) first. If you don't have a virus protection software, go and purchase it. The free stuff on the net isn't always good. Try Norton or Kapersky. They're good and they automatically update.
When you run the scan, it will provide you with a report of what was found. It sounds more like a virus or trojan. If it is, then you can remove it with the software. If the problems still occur after you have done this, take it to a reputable computer tech shop and tell them you need help in removing a trojan off the hard drive. They will help you do this (probably for a fee, but much cheaper than buying another computer or formatting your hard drive)
Once your machine is clean, keep the anti-virus protection up to date and check your firewall settings to keep future viruses/trojans out.well Beth that is some very helpful information Honey. Thank you so much, The info come up that it is the hard drive. I try installing Nortons but when ever I try Nortons or malware etc the entire computer shuts down, I think I may get run that one over with my truck and get a new one.

MarkMarky-had a meeting with H.R. today. It's been a very long day. I have been given 30 days to find another position in the system before termination.
But, at least I have 30 days. That's a little something.Oh Man, I didn't know that. That is what choice they gave you. I thought everything was all fixed for you. That is horrible.
I hope you find something. Maybe you and I should think about persuing the D.T. thing. I am going to because first the drive one way is 60 miles and now I am worried about when it snows and ice etc. That will be bad. Also I was thinking about looking into the hospital down here. They are tripling the ER and sure they will need some more employees. It is only 3 mile from my house. and a fairly new Hospital. I have 10 years experience in the Hospital field. Man I have done about everything don't you think?
hang in there Denise I think I got this computer fixed. No problems so far and it's been about 45 min.

Thanks. The 'challenge' is to find a job among one of the three hospitals that is in the system that still honors the pension plan that I was originally offered on my date of hire. I am one year away from being fully vested and it has been quite an ordeal when this process of termination began in April with the new manager that was hired in. she is a royal B.B.B. (see my hub earlier to find out what that means,
) and was gunning for me to cry and run away. It didn't happen that way, but I am despartley trying to hang obto my pension!!!

@ Beth - I ran Norton and they removed the pay verson which expired and put in a free Nortons from comcast which is included in our internet service. It took about one hour. PC keep on shutting down during install

@Cara, I read a lot and try to stay away from TV. I don't watch the news and find out about hurricanes when I see my neighbors boarding up their windows. I love writing fiction, but because English is not my first language, I have to be on top of my game, so I must read. Funny thing is that I've spoken English longer than I have Spanish, which is my native tongue. So, I'm like the coffee creamer (Half & Half), plenty of Spanglish, but not completely fluent in either language. I can't get the "IN, ON, AT" correct, for the life of me! It's "in the year 2011", yet we say "on Tuesday, December 14" You are either IN or ON but I can't get it in my head. So I do a lot of googling, dictionary.com, and proofreading. No other choice.
But for now, I'm reading THE SHINING and it's scaring the living out of me, and I'm only on page 20. He is truly THE King!
@Denise - Listen to me on this one Denise. Do your visualization every day, as many times as you can. See yourself employed by the people that need to hire you. And repeat your self a mantra every thirty minutes saying. "I'm so happy because I was able to get hired by ___________ (fill in the blank). It works WONDERS! Trust me. It's the only magic that is real. Anything you want will come your way. That's how I found my hubby, and we are so meant to be together! It's crazy here, Steve. I've never seen so many MH flags in cars, homes, businesses, everywhere. I don't know why they say we (the fans) are not good. What they don't get is this... Miami is not a normal city in the US. Miami is like a big airport, where people come and go from one year to the next. So the crowd that might be in the arena one year might not be there the next. We still went to several games last year even though it was not as eventful as now. We'll just have to roll with the punches. We've become the world's favorite target. Busy getting pipe burst fixed and then had to go over to the Island where my sister lives for a B-Day party for my nephew. Now back and writing hub # 199 and in hopes to hit 200 before Sunday night as long as nothing else goes wrong at house. Have to replace so sheetrock in utility room where the pipe broke.
No problem it a fast fix. The weather here is bad today. Rain clouds, and just plain old nasty. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

Started my day listening to Neil Young and Old 97's Born to be in Battle (thinking of the Mavs, of course) It's a beautiful day in Florida, the sun's coming in through the window and I'm on vacation, so there are worse things than not winning an NBA title, especially when my team showed to not have an equal passion for winning. It is what it is. I'm over it and I'm smiling. They need to get it together for next year. That's all.
