Just got home of a 9 days work week . My feet are killing me and I told Linda to buy that foot massage Yeppy I am off tomorrow. 10:10 pm now and I must get a shower and eat my dinner.
I am depressed with my score of 88. It hasn't been that low in over a year. I know why because I haven't been doing much on HP for a while, BUT I am off Sunday, Monday and Tuesday so I will finish my hub I started almost 2 weeks ago LOL

Congrats Klara on that 100 again.I am home finally. Lin and I went to the Ocean after work and it was so nice. the Bay and the Ocean were like a sheet of glass. Not one wave to be found.
Watched the sun set and now the Fire works are going off out my back door.
3 days off for meThree days off!!! How wonderful!!! I have two months, though...
I'll be pretty busy doing a million things at once.
Watching the Heat game. If we win today we're champions. But as of right now, the Celtics are playing better. We just have to wait and see. The Miami Heat fans are often criticized, and with reason. They are too quiet, but it's mostly because they have the Kardashians' extended family on the lower floor. They've had so many surgeries that they can't even yell! Ugh! All the shouts you hear are coming from the nose-bleed section. Those are the true fans!!!

@ Mark -- miss you!!! Glad you'll be around this weekend, but I won't. Being busy trying to pack up the house - invisibly so the kids don't get upset before final exams.
yea, good luck on that part. Plus, coaching soccer 4x this weekend. 
@ Cara -- the last week will zip by really fast. my secondary kids are almost done the 'formal' part of school. Next week is their last week of classes and then they have finals.
@mtsi -- good morning/evening/afternoon! sun? or rain? sun and thunder clouds here. A bit odd -- I'm waiting for another tornado warning. Last week, my tree was bent so far it snapped. but, it's still alive!

That's one of my favorite things about living here. I can go to the beach for a quick swim whenever I want, then rush back home and do whatever I have to do.
How was the game? Did they win? We'll be watching the Spain soccer game tomorrow. But first, the HEAT tonight! Woooohooooo!!!

Hello all...have to work the next two days and then off to my quarterly spiritual retreat in Michigan. I'm so glad it is in the state that my daughters live. It gives me an opportunity to see them and my grandkids!
Hope you all had a wonderful w/e. I spent the w/e shopping with my nephew to buy him a new outfit for his senior photos! Woo hoo! Coming into the finishing stretch here with him.

It is used and I bought it for fishing and crabbing and of course a sunset cruise too.
It is a 19 foot Grady White They are great boats and very sea worthy. Heavy too. No bouncing around in the bay or ocean.
I wanted an outboard motor because a few years ago I had a Crownline with a I/O engine. It is a pain in the butt to winterize.
Heading to motor vehicle now to get the paper work to register etc

Towing a boat is expensive you know. I am going to get BOATUS for my insurance and they have free towing if needed.
I can't believe I bought another boat, but so glad I did. My grandson will love it. They are lots of up keep and money, but I deserve it and so does Linda.
Now it's time for Marky to play more and work less I was looking on line for Mooring Wips for the dock and new are from high 200's to almosy 500.00. I stopped in a huge boating and hunting store up the road from my house for the first time and on the board outside the store are ads and boats etc for sale and low and behold there was the mooring wips I needed Used and half the price too. I called the guy and had them in my sisters back yard with in a hour I am all set up now and ready to take those sunset cruises You, Linda and your grandson certainly deserve the fun FUN FUN!!!
I'm glad you bought the boat. I know that towing is expensive, and it's very smart to have a look over before setting her into the water. I never did buy my sailboat last year, and I doubt that I will now. Oh well, I'll just have to wait until you come up and give me a lift. My thumb will turn blue from sticking out so far..... hurry up!!

Klara-enjoy the sun and sand; no, Cara did NOT get the job she had hoped to at the community college. Plan B was to go to a lower grade level and she has First Grade next year in the same sorry A** school she has been in. Wish one of us would win the lottery,

Beth-thanks--it has been a rockin' and rollin' time at the old psych unit. Thank goodness I was on the Geri floor last night-one of the acute patients punched a co-worker but it was a blink of the eye and he had him pinned on the floor until the po-po got there. I have been exhausted at the pace though. Those geriatric patients are very ill and one lady disrupted the unit the entire night with her screaming and carrying on. Are you still submitting recipe hubs?
Cara--I know you'll be popping in here soon. Happy vacation days are right around the corner!
mts-sounds like you had a nice weekend. I'm heading on the road to Michigan tomorrow morning after my shift for my quarterly spiritual retreat. I'm looking forward to it, but usually fly-much quicker and more comfortable. A friend will be driving the first leg of the trip while I sleep.

cool day today -- cloudy with chances of thunderstorms. Hoping soccer will be cancelled tonight -- have to drive an hour to get to the field!!! Not happy about that, but I know the boys look forward to the game.

YAY!! my son played goalie and I'm sooo proud of him. He hasn't played goalie for the past two seasons. He always loved playing in the net until his accident during a game. He dove for a ball and slammed his head (dead centre) into the post. He had a concussion, which he recovered from but didn't go back on the field for quite a while. When he made it back on, he went back in net, only to take a kick in the face. Again.... a concussion. So, he faced his worse fear and voluntarily played goalie when our regular and back up goalies couldn't make it. I'M SO PROUD OF HIM!!! He played an awesome game!! YAY! this is why I love coaching!!! Yippee!!!Hi Beth, You should be so proud of your son. He never gives up no matter what happened to him at the goal. Not a quitter which is a great thing. No I am heading to bed so have yourself a great sleep Beth

Hey all...just a quick 'touching base' before I hit the hay. My friend and I took turns driving from 12 noon until 3:30 a.m. when we landed in Michigan. I'm still awake b/c of my darned midnight shifts-it isn't easy to switch gears I've been so used to sleeping in the morning now. But, I'm excited for the retreat. I'll be heading over to the center around noon. Hasta luego, all.

@ Klara -- he just turned 11 in May. He's a trooper but sometimes, I think his common sense got knocked out of him!! He had one of his best games yet.

Beth, most boys at that age have little common sense. It grows later on in life though. Be patient. He'll turn out alright, I'm sure.
I went to the beach today and a bunch of small fish found me and started playing with me. They were less than two inches in length, silver colored with a little orange spot on their pelvic fin and flat - the cutest things I've ever seen. And they were trying to bite me but they were so small that it just tickled, but they were at it for about thirty minutes and they'd allow me to touch them, which I found strange and amazing at the same time.
Yesterday I spotted dolphins, and this morning there was a stingray swimming across my balcony... unbelievable! Nature is putting on a show just for me! How cool is that?Gracias mi amiga,

We had a great game last night. The HEAT won last night and now they're back to play a home game on Sunday.
I've got a billion things to do at home but the only thing I really want to do is SLEEP! Can you believe it?! I guess I'm finally catching up after months of sleep deprivation.
