   Hi everyone,  I am terribly sorry that I have been putting links on wrong pages.
   
   I have been merrily going along putting links on things where I get comments etc and HONESTLY  did not realise that I was doing anything wrong.  I thought that was how you told people to have a look at your hub.
   Again thanks to Marissa and others for putting me straight on this.
   
   Sorry Jimmy and again others for doing the wrong things.  I will not do this again.  If I have upset anyone I am really SORRY and I humbly apologise.
   
   I think I put 2 on something today......ouch!!!  Have been away for weekend and so just carried on merrily oblivious again.

   I have had links not related put on mine so didnt know  I was doing it in error.

   I didn't know it was wrong either!!?? People put links in my Hubs all the time and I am delighted!! I just like the fact they cared enough to comment long enough to put them there!!
   
   Yes, this is all a learning process!! Sounds like the delightful more experienced members of the Hub community have embraced you fully!!

      I think most of us are fine with it if the links are to another relevant hubpage that isn't trying to sell something to somebody. I usually allow links to related content in my comments. But it really has to be tightly related and of value to the surfer.
      
      You can tell people in comments about your hubs without linking at all though. If someone is really curious about what you have to say, they can always click your name and browse your hubs.

   Hi Eileen,
   I love recieving comments from people, and yours was very welcome in my hub, and I don't mind people linking to my hubs if they are related to the topic i have written about, infact if I have seen a hub on the same topic that i enjoyed i have added a link to that hub myself.
   there is no need to apologise to me or anyone else for posting the link, it is a simple mistake to make and i am sure that you have learned from it, I hope this situation will not spoil your enjoyment of hubpages and that you find success on the site, take care and keep on hubbing.....jimmy
