wonderfully done Denise - voted up and awesome. it has me inspired for my next hub. My PhD was on social unrest and riots as community protest in 18th century Scotland.
Very cool, Annie--you continue to amaze and surprise me: PhD??? I am honored to be in your presence, LOL But, what I really am intrigued with is your topic-that must have been very interesting to work on.
Okay, here we are, day two and Hub two. I got great feedback from the first, and I'd just like to take a moment to thank everyone who stopped by and left all of those great comments.
Okay, I'm starting to get the hang of this HubPages thing. So far I love it. I want to thank everyone for all of the support and great feedback I've got so far.
I'm not sure if I should be posting these as separate posts, or all at once. If anyone has any idea on that, let me know, I don't want to look like a spammer.
Okay, I've finally talked myself into it. Tomorrow I am starting the 30 hubs in 30 days challenge. Maybe it will help me get some of these hubs I've been working on finished.
Hey, the clean life, you can send some of that rain down here to Texas. We are as dry as a bone! The naturalists in the area are predicting that we will lose 30-40% of the trees in the area because of this drought. Everything is so brown.
I liked your article on blue. Another adjective that I added in my comments for the darker shades of blue was ominous - such as in the dark blue of storm clouds. Wow! It looks like you're doing great on your hub challenge. Are you doing the 30 in 30. I just started mine yesterday.
I appreciate your comment on my new blue hub! Thank you.
Congrats on starting the challenge, I see that you have been very busy posting 4 hubs already. The first 1 is still showing as unpublished but I found the 3 hubs on US Postal History very interesting.
Yes, I am doing the 30 in 30. I am a little ahead at the moment but running out of steam a bit. Yesterday was the first day that I missed publishing a hub and I am a bit behind reading my followers new hubs...must catch up!
Take care and I will enjoy following your next hubs. Cloverleaf
Alcoholism is a hard topic for me, because my father was also physically abusive and emotionally abusive. You are awful brave to put it all out on the line like you do. And you have so many followers, so you must really be getting the word out to people who need it. Good for you.!
Day 13... Ugh, fell behind a few days because of a computer mishap. Talk about frustration. Anyway finally published hub number 8 today. No idea how I'm gonna catch up...
I've been bouncing between 85-87 since starting this challenge. I have been spending less times in the forum, and hub hopping. Prior to taking the challenge my score was increasing daily. I would like to get it into the 90's and was hoping you would be able to help me figure out this system. We are both pretty new at this.
Are you in the midst of a Hub Challenge? Fantastic! Should you like to share the Hubs you have published as you continue along on your epic journey, share them here. Please do not post Hub links in other threads or start a new thread for individual Hubs. That makes things messy, and makes it harder...
Thought that this new thread would make it easier for everyone to share their hubs for the Hub Challenge.....jimmyhere is my first http://hubpages.com/hub/Ladies-Rolex-Watches
In the last couple of months I've been getting a lot more sun than the average geek as I've been helping a neighbour out with their vineyard (after moving out to the country). So when I saw that a Flagship Hub Topic on "how to make wine" was up for grabs I didn't hesitate in staking my...
Though we have another thread devoted entirely to contest-related questions, you might want to see what other Hubbers are entering into the contest- as well as share your own masterpieces. Please do so here. This will be a fun way to get inspiration and strut our stuff!... Though before you submit...
Ive noticed already that the Hubs that I deem most worthy or never the highest ranked or viewed.Which of your Hubs do you wish all would read? With link please. -Josh
