Say, for whatever reason, all technology was "unavailable" (you couldn't use your PC, phone, TV etc.), what would you do right now?
We've been without electricity for a week now (ok, so we bought a generator). But that means co-ordination in terms of when PCs can be used etc. It's bought some order into my work-life actually which is probably a good thing and, I've been getting more fresh air and doing more exercise!
So, what would you do if your PC suddenly went down now (and your phone, TV etc.)? I'd go for a walk.
Without technology, it'll be a bit difficult but lot more better. At least we will get the chance to go back t nature, wal again instead of sitting in front of the TV or PC, we would eat health food on natural fire, we'd do many healthy things, we can even read more...
I would probably be in the mall renting one. LOL!
Spend a bit more time outside. E,g Parks, walk/sit by the beach for a few hours Writing. Some good might come out of it.
I would be in heaven.... Why are people unable to rely on the one thing most have never known: Themself.
I would have a nice stroll in the park, followed by lunch at a small village pub. Then home to read a book that I have been putting off reading. Spend some quality time with my family.
I would go to the beach, have some splash, eat out, read till I'm tired out and ready to sleep ;p
I would cycle down to the woods, sit by the river and read a good book.
I'd stay outside, under the moon and the stars and watch my dogs (if I can see them) run around me and enjoy their lives.
sleeping nyahahaha for the world is boring by that time weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee no technology, well that's boring wakikik... hi charia nice to see ya....
Hi General, how are you? I have read on another thread that you have been bullied. Hope you are ok now.
Its okay with me they bully because I'm giving them a pain in the neck whenever I have an heated argument about religion hehehe, I'm staying away from religion thread for now though hehehe, how about you charia what's up...
Have been without technology this year for about a month, no internet, no phone , no newspaper, no TV...
Felt strange but amazing, slept better ,ate better , walked everywhere , talked to strangers more, just loved "smelling the roses"
There's really not alot I could do without electricity tbh! I would probably just go to my moms house but if hers was out too i'd just sleep.
How much does it cost in Petrol to keep your generator going?
Since i live in Cape Town, South Africa, we go through power failures and shortages alot. They are busy rebuilding the power station that supplies the city so it gets really messy here at times. I hate it !
I'd have a lined pad of paper handy for writing (either business writing or personal writing), and I'd probably have more telephone conversations than I do now.
Isn't this the time many babies are created? Can't do that some more, but would be fun trying.
My work is mainly in front of the computer and often alone, which I hate. So, I would go to a place where there are a lot of people, just to say "hi", pass the time of day, anything.
I'd go to the library Free everything--although you can only have up to 2 hours on internet time unless you pay
I'd write letters, ink on paper, and snail mail them. I miss opening envelopes and seeing stamps and writing by hand.
Without my phone and the computer? The world must comes to a end after that.
