Here are the words that are becoming my pet peeve ever since I started online writing:
Wanted Writers - "Native English speakers ONLY".
"We're sorry but we're only accepting US-based writers ONLY".
Ooookkkkaaaayyyyyy, what does being a non-native English speaker have anything to do with my skill in writing English?????
Oh and this also - "awesome"
jeezzzz, makes me feel like the one saying this has nothing better to say so he just says this word .
cyst
pubic
"ya think?"
brassiere
briefs
mildew
eject
vomit
trousers
erect
value add
quality content
business opportunity
"friends" (as a greeting on an email that is not from a personal friend)
social media
make money online
At the end of the day...
To be honest...
Trust me.
Listen, ....
Do you have a minute?
Hate.
I don't know.
ekcetera
back in the day
so fun
nooky
110 percent
alls I'm sayin'
borrow instead of lend
supposably
I hate people and shops that refer to themselves as 'honest' because you know they're not.
A few more --
diarrhea
that’s retarded
that’s so gay
but I digress
potty mouth
indubitable (and all its forms and variations)
I actually hate it when people say ex cetera.
There is no 'x'!!
It's spelled 'et' cetera.
It's amazing how many TV broadcasters say it incorrectly. Drives me nuts!
Hearing that is nearly as bad as reading the loose/lose error.
Similarly, I hate it when people say "eXpresso". It's "espresso" for the love of God.
I don't even know if this one is worthy of a conversation about words (in writing or in conversation), but one non-word that makes my head feel like it will explode is
"prolly" (which a whole lot of people appear to be using instead of "probably"). I don't know if these people are being funny or if they're horrendously ignorant; but I can't stand it.
And another one is when people refer to "pregnant" as "pregos" (!!!)
OOO H MAN ! YES! I hate prolly...
I also hate 'my bad'

If a hub is not featured does that mean that it doesn't get any search engine traffic from Google or other search engines?

how many words must be written at least in the hub ?

Hi,I published this hub last night. This morning, I see a blank space where the "H" for featured usually goes. I've never seen this happen before. Is the hub being moderated for some reason? I have not received an email or anything notifying me that the hub is in violation. Please give...

My email to Hub Pages' Team was sent 6/1/14 and read as follow:Dear Team:I have noticed that the entire summary for my hub article does not always show completely in the "featured" box under my profile page. Then, when you click on the article from that section, you can't finish reading...

I posted 10 hubs, 5 have been featured, the rest 5 just be published, so I'm thinking about if the hubs not be featured, that means that would never be indexed by google, should I delete it and move to others like squidoo or ezinearticles? Cuz its meaningless for SEO if not be public for search...

I have a featured hub with 508 words but Google add no ads. It has a good traffic. Do you know why?
