    thanks Crazywriter!

    I picked one of yours that I liked and have read a couple of times, in fact, I sent to my nieces because I think that it's important to write personal, handwritten letters. Email makes it easy for us but coming from the handwritten thought is so much more sincere...this is a good one;

        http://hubpages.com/hub/Emergency-Power-Inexpensively

        This one caught my eye as emergency power can be a real issue in bad weather, have you looked into the potential risks of using emergency power to do stuff like run the games console? I read a story about people getting carbon monoxide poisoning because of the fume generated by using a gas generator in an unventilated environment.

        1. readytoescape profile image60
          readytoescapeposted 15 years agoin reply to this

          Actually the CO2 issue is addressed in there. the nice thing about inverters is the provide "clean" power for electronics.
          Where as generators can sometimes produce "dirty" power which can harm electronic equipment.

          Oh and thanks for the referal
