How much would you like to make on Hubpages?
If you had a choice and given the circumstances, how much would you be happy earning this month on Hubpages? What is the most you have ever made and does it matter?
0Well I guess the sky is the limit. But to be more realistic I have defined a set of goals for earnings:
1- to receive a payout
2- to receive a payout every month
3- to receive over $100 a month
4- to receive over $200 a month in payouts
and so on. Many writers are making a few thousand a month on hubpages from what I gather from the various post and some are earning a living. To more quality hubs you write, the more you will make. It is a numbers game.
This month, it's almost over, I would be happy to earn $8.00. Pretty sad, huh? I plan is to double my income each month. The most I have ever "made" in one month is $4.75. Of course, I haven't received anything yet, but I have only been here 4 months and it takes a while to figure all this out.
Yes, I have to say it does matter. I enjoy writing and learning new things by reading others hubs. I really enjoy how everyone is so friendly and helpful here, but I am semi-retired and could really use some money.
I'd be happy to earn enough to pay one of my school loans...so perhaps $100 wouldn't be too much to ask?
In the long run, I'd like to see enough money to consider it an extra income for our household. That would be nice!
The most I have ever made is around $30 in one month. On average I make about $10-$15 a month, but I'm still 'young' yet on this site.
As of today, February 25, 2012, I have been contributing to HubPages for about 11 months and so far, my earnings have been embarrassingly low.
However, I would like to earn enough on this site to make the monthly lease payments on a 2012 Cadillac CTS Sedan which translates to about $350 a month. ;-)
I'd like to make enough a month so my husband could retire early. I figure that will take about $3000 a month or more. I may never reach my goal. My highest earning was $250 a month. This month I'm not even close to that.
I would like to make enough so I can concentrate on writing fiction and stop freelancing. I wouldn't mind earning between $600 & $1000 per month. Currently I am earning less than $100 per month.
This month I would be happy with $300, however I think next month might be a little more successful... Barely reached $1 this month... ![]()
Well right now I'd like to make enough to just set it aside for spending money and gas. So $200 month would be nice. After a year though I'd like to see $500 or more each month.
But for now let's just start by making enough to get a payout each month lol.
I have been with HP for a year now and have not received a paycheck. I know I write lots of inspirational and creative Hubs. That is one reason. I have finally reached the payout level. YEAH
My goal is unlimited but I would be thrilled with $1,000 a month here on HP. That is doable and my personal goal. As much as I love writing, I joined HP to earn extra income so it definitely matters to me.
A 100 a month @ Klanguedoc.. That sounds like impossibility to me.. Well, I have not made any more yet, but if I ever start to make, 50 a month won't be that bad.. I will be lucky to even make anything at all. I mean, all I do is do the thing I love to do and still get payed that will be awesome.
I joined HP only yesterday. I have gone through the answers posted already, which are very interesting. To start with, any amount will be okay for me this month. $ 100 per month onwards is my target.
Panhandling and survivalist lessons replaced the norm childhood lifestyle of the two parents, two car home garage weekly kid soccer, choir, PTA, church obligations. Hell, even my 'Pack light, kid, we may leave in the morning' notes weren't even coexistent or factual. I am a product from a test tube couple who never met; thanks biological scientists whom I never met either! Stability is instability unless you can survive on thirty dollars a day (See box: Female White Natural born citizen Age unknown).
I would love to make enough that I don't have to worry about working while I'm back in school.. which would be around $400/month. But at this rate you make money on HP, I think I'd be happy even if I made $5.00!
I don't seem to be earning very much at all as yet, but I keep hoping. As I'm retired and on a limited income it would be great to earn $100 a month. 'In my dreams' at the moment, still looking forward to my first payout, but I love HubPages anyway and the people I meet on it are great.
Can you really make money writing on Hub Pages and if so, how much is realistic?
I have researched this question and found that there are two versions of what we are told we can expect to earn as income on HP.

How much, on average, do you earn per hub, per month on Hubpages?
by Jeremiah Simpkins 14 years ago
I'm just curious to see what the average is for newcomers to earn in their first month. I know that the more hubs you have, the more impressions you'll have and potential clicks, but I'm really interested in hearing from some of the top earners, maybe to help inspire newcomers who aren't...
