Lets start a nice thread where no one bickers and everything is sweetness and light
What has been good about your day so far? It's nice and sunny here and looking out at the different colored leaves makes me happy
It's a great question that it is good to ask ourselves at the end of every day. Gratitude apparently has a purer vibration than love. I am grateful today that I am alive, healthy, and not really lacking anything.
I had a very fun weekend. I needed that a lot. Friends, food, a party and even some costumes. Additionally, I unloaded some bad feelings and am feeling better about life. AND, my 73 yo mom, who is gorgeous, just announced her engagement. We will celebrate this weekend when she comes to town to see me and my kids. Sweet...
Nice cool breeze here (very "Fall-ish" temperatures)...and just a few laughs on the Hub Forums!
it's gorgeous here also, beautiful blue sky, 69 degrees, just cleaned the pool, wanting to play outside.
but work to do inside... maybe I'll do some writing outside.
I had a nice squashy, creamy bun and cup of tea with my hubbie by the fire. Very nice - thanks for asking.
I had the best sausage roll from gregs bakers........oh what a warm feeling
Beautiful weather here after lots of rain and clouds. Temps are nice and cool, but it's warming back up into 70's this week.
Clicked over to 1,000 views on hubs, 700ish of those this week. It's nice when search engines find you.
Have made some adsense and Amazon money from HubPages. Received some interest in a business plan some friends and I are working on.
Still 11 hours and 21 minutes left in this one.
I resumed work on a hub which I really started working on months ago. So I've been busy with that.
There are times when you just feel blessed, i have had that feeling since morning. It has been Diwali a festival which is huge for us and it was great to be with family and my loved ones.
It's a beautiful day weather wise, the kids are (knock on wood) playing nicely together, and I have been able to get a lot of writing done
It's a cool rainy day here. Already been to town and got most of my errands ran. Will be putting up a few decorations for halloween later today. Thinking about making a big pot of chicken and dumplings for dinner.
Well Susan, I was happy enough to wake up alive again. It's a sunny day and I got my 51st hub out of the way.
I got to meet a coworker who has been mentoring me from the east coast for the last 6 months(through the internet).
I pulled the meat of a leftover turkey and making some turkey noodle soup with the bones ...n dumplings yum , y'eaten
Published a hub ,tryin a new angle lol
Three nice things actually:
Had a check up... Doc says the old ticker is going to go tictoc for a bit longer, the 80foot maple tree in the front yard is bright bright red and gorgeous, (camera is out of battery juice:(), and best for last Examiner.com is going live here in Canada as of Wednesday October 21 and I'm the Canada Wedding Examiner.
Ooh...I gotta apply there Well...I will when it lets me finish the application...
I had a spectacular quesadilla for lunch
And it is 60 degrees with clear blue skies!
The weather is glorious, and my granddaughter is out of school today and with me!
Neither one of Kids will be home this evening (this doesn't happen often)and as much as I love my children..,tonight is all about me and my Hubby!
Finished cleaning inside my refridgerator, trimmed my roses and brought some into the kitchen to liven things up, now just having some tea with you all, soooooo pleasant!
some awesome hubbers sent me over three hundred fans this afternoon!!! You guys are amazing
everything is fine so far, watching cartoons, participate in forums and daydreaming......will take a walk later, getting colder...in TEXAS..........
I hate to add the same thing I've added on another thread about what was good about a day; but again, another day is kind of bland and the best thing about it has been some really, really, good coffee I've made. (I have lots of good things I could say about my overall life, but these days a lot of individual days don't seem to be very remarkable. )
Oooh - wait - Google earnings seem to have picked up quite a bit.
I ran into a few old friends in the morning. It was good seeing them.
sweetness and light that was exactly how my day went
and it just got a little brighter when I saw this post. positive energy - does it get any better than that!
And yes, I am glad I found this post to post onto!
Hope everyone is having a great day.
Big thumbs up to you Uninvited Writer!
Went out for a few hours with a friend I don't see often. But, more importantly, I've virtually finished my first hub in over two and a half months! ... Only another 29 to go!
I came home to my boyfriend after being away since Friday...Life is good!

OK, I know I am a bit crook this week with the flue, but as I am no longer young, it is kicking the crap out of me!So I thought why not ask others if they have an opinion or something funny to say about aging.I hate that my athletic body is starting to sag, I hate that I start to crap myself over...

What do you see as being good about the world or just your own life today? We all to often look at the cup as being half empty, yes there are lots of problems in the world today, but what do you see as good in the world today?

BIG KUDOS to everyone who has responded thus far! It seems like being able to have flexibility and in a sense "call your own shots" are very positive reasons to love your job and boy, do I agree with you! It's great on a Friday (the 13th for those who cross your fingers) to hear such...

Dwight Eisenhower advised that the American economy’s “ultimate purpose” was “to produce more consumer goods.” The solution was first expressed in the Spring 1955 issue of Journal of Retailing. To maintain economic growth, the author, Victor Lebow, stated : Our enormously...
