Are hubpages recording visits by their lodgged in owner ?

   Hi All, My first post here.
   
   I noticed that My 2 Hubpages started acquiring visit statistics straight away, infact the second one was getting visits recorded before I published it.
   
   Might I suggest that it should be possible to prevent this , particularly where the owner of a hubpage is logged in
   
   Perhaps i am mistaked an people are just really hungry for my Hubpages

      yes, it log your views.
      
      Just use analytics for true stats

   I noticed that yesterday, when my hub had 6 views before I published it. I thought it was strange that it was recording my own views, I didnt realise it did that.

      here is whats wierd. Yes, it records your views, and your own comments.
      but, sometimes, my computer crashes before i finish a hub, then when I can get back, it will sya..like..3 views..and no way its me...my computer was turned off!! Whos looking at unpublished hubs?
      and. why does it even  matter?

      It would, but you cant beat analytics.
      
      plus, after a few days, its not likely you will be looking at your own hub anymore.
      
      After you see a couple of thousand views per week, those self registered views seem far less troublesome
      
      keep writing!

   I try to not open my Hubs again after I publish, so my stats are real. I think most of my stats are real, because I didn't open one of my hubs over 1,500 times...lol.

   Don't you have to look at your hubs again if you want to reply to a comment? coz I always wondered if there was a way of replying without going back onto your hub.

   Hubpages view them before they are published to determine content and stats (for you) ..plus Im sure Goggle crawls 24/7..its what they do

   You can approve them through your dashboard (rather than follow the link in your email) but your right, you have to view in order to comment back
