Was wondering how difficult it would be to add a thesaurus option to our hubs....we presently have spell check, and I think this would be a great addition to improve our hubs....I guess this would be one for Jason or Paul????
Yeah, that would be a neat feature. One less window to open!
I've never met an online thesaurus which was any good even just for UK english. The current spelling checker is US only so I guess a thesaurus would be US only too -and that would just be too confusing for the rest of us! Check out some of the grammar hubs there are some good ones!
Well of course we speak English - it's the American's with the dialect problem I mean I actually like your abbreviation of through, it stopped my friend Geoff going to goal when he was travelling in the USA, though when he ran out of petrol, he did lock his keys in the boot of his car and had to tramp miles along a road with no the footpath to find a telephone booth. He put on weight too - over-ordering an entree when he wanted a small meal. :-)
I get it now,,,,what a dumb ass I am!!!! I have been to the U.K. I remember they always said for "fu.ks sake, or something like that....I liked it there....except they smoked in nice restaurants...it was some time ago, maybe they don't do that now....oh, and the pubs closed at 11pm...but I think that changed as well.
Love your post Lissie - are the Americans scratching their heads over some of those words now?

I was just starting to go hub hopping today when I had a thought. What if there was a "hopper" for those of us who are interested in feedback on the quality of writing in our hubs? We could add our hubs to that list, and people could rate or comment on errors they find, or make...

I have read numerous hubs while hopping that I thought would be great if the writer did some editing or word smithing. I thought it would be nice to let people know that thier piece could be so much better with out trying to hurt anyones feelings. I have commented on a couple of pages...

I have been using "ProWritingAid" and "Grammarly" for the most part. Apart from these apps, I have a few friends to help me out. What about you people?PS, if any of you need any help with the above apps, I'll be more than happy to explain how they work.

So last month 3 of my hubs were selected for HubPro Premium editing and I have to say I thought the editors did a great job. They did change (or mostly add) a fair bit to the articles and I took some lessons from what they added and made more amendments to other hubs. This has lead to this month...

I've just received an email announcing that I have been invited to participate in HubPro Premium. I'm a bit taken aback and more than a little leery. I'm taken aback because I have been one of those fortunate ones whose hubs are moved automatically after publication to the niche sites...
