   I am a patient and normally easy going person. But a couple of comments on my hub have been irritating.
   
   I'm not out for religious discussions but Gods this torques my pentacle.

         Ahhhh, you got their superstitious, self-righteous side going. Good for you. Remember their comments are always far more about revealing who *they* are rather than who you are. You are fine. They feel threatened. You hold all the power, my dear. Their comments could really just be meaningless, I think.

            I think what really saddens me is the impression of narrow sightedness. There is a huge big world out there with so much to offer and they can't or won't embrace it.

   I can imagine!! you just have to remember everyone has very different opinions and beliefs about life, especially anything religious. sometimes I wonder how people live with so much bias and judgment in their lives. people need to learn and respect religious tolerance.

   yeah delete those annoying comments. you have a record of them in your email inbox and if you get enough of them HubPages can deal with them. i do not allow negativity on my hub comments at all. sorry they did that to you...i know how annoying that can be.

   i think it would be better if some one did not agree with a hub to just pass it by, maybe even just say it is well written as yours was.   It is a subject that some people will not like, you must have known that when you wrote it....

    hey gemstrong, don't lose your cool....they just aren't worth it. I write about war refugees and taliban...so the other day, I actually got death threats if I didn't stop....! i just deleted the post and played some music to calm me down...

    Think of it this way:
    
    How many wars has Religion started?
    How many wars has Religion prevented?
    
    No surprises, just be glad your not in Salem...Early America!
    I mix it up a lot in the political forums, but I avoid the Religous ones.....too volatile.  Its amazing because Religion is supposed to be about love, peace, etc. 
    
    Look at the bright side, your views have been challenged. Thats really the only way you can be sure of what you believe.

       I do that when people flip me off on the highway...I wave and smile, there is a moment of confusion on their part, then they smile and wave back!(sometimes)  When they do...well thats when I return the original gesture!LMAO  Its wrong, I know, but its soo dam funny!LOL
