Do you feel easy to answer questions on HP after getting your answers voted down without any reason?
I don't know why are people enjoying to vote down answers. Did HP give hubbers a power that (some people) they do not deserve? It is not logical, especially in YES/NO questions, to vote an answer down just because we are of an opposite opinion.
"Please vote up an answer if it adds to the discussion, or vote it down if it does not."
Some people vote down answers for the fun of it or because they believe you have slighted them at some time, my answers regularly get voted down every time a couple of women answer questions I've answered. Sometimes answers are voted down that can have no right or wrong answer, the queston asks, say, 'what is your favourite...?' or, 'who do you think is the best...?' Then you can be voted down because the person doing the voting has a different opinion, as well as the other reasons given above. It is really not worth worrying about, just let the children play and cary on asking or answering what you want.
I think each person has a different perception about they yes no voting option. Everyone also has a different perception about what they think a "good" answer would be. For those questions that get voted down, when they were fine.. I think some people just enjoy bringing other people down.
Having my answers voted down has absolutely no affect on my answering questions. As far as I know it does not influence your scores, I know it doesn't impact your earnings, so why should I care if someone wants to vote my answers down for no good reason?
My answers get voted down all the time, I look at them and laugh at the fools who think they're having some sort of impact on me and then move onto the next question.
I pity the people who think that voting down my answers will actually do anything (as long as my answer is valuable others will outvote them by voting it up anyway).
i don't care in the least. almost every day i get answers voted down . i expect this because i answer honestly and not always to how people like. i do the same to others , so it's all good.
I don't bother about getting voted down. It's so silly that people vote a person's answer down just because they voice a different opinion.
The best thing to do is ignore it. One or two people just get a kick out of being dumb and lousy. Rise about them and continue to ask and answer questions when you choose and not because some twat may vote you down.
No problem at all. Everyone has rights here to vote up and vote down. If somebody dont like my answer, he can vote me down but it usually don't affect me because if I fear not to answer, I would not overcome my weakness. I learn from the previous mistakes I have done and try not to do it again so that my answer if not voted up then shouldn't at-least not voted down too.

I've seen answers and mostly were really the best possible answer to that particular question. The answer actually makes others redundant or of lesser value. So, why do these answers get a vote down?

How often do you vote a hub or an answer to a question down?I've been at HubPages for just over two weeks. I feel hurt if I know I have given a fairly good answer to a question and it gets voted down. I have not yet voted any answer down - if I don't like the answer, I just ignore it. I guess if I...

What makes you vote up or down a question?I noticed in the questions I have asked questions and some good response have been voted down. So, curiousity struck me and makes me wonder how do you determine your rating of the answers. (The answers voted down haven't been negative or had swearing in...

Why do good answers get voted down ?Why are answers that have nothing wrong with them getting voted down ?If the subject is sex every answer seems to get voted down ? Is it someone who hates sex & can't handle the fact that a lot of us do ?If that is the case then wouldn't it be better not...
