Did HubPages do away with the share button to my followers or did I over use it?

I was sharing the hubs I read with my followers earlier today, but now I can see the button anymore.  I was wondering if I over used mine or is this the same for everyone else?

I can't imagine a share button disappearing...what would be the point of sharing then? I'm interested to know where it would go too.

Great question.  I used it yesterday and noticed it was gone today.

I just noticed today mine following me down the page with me. There's an ad now where the 'Like This' section used to be and the whole 'Like section' comes down the page with me as I scroll down to my very last comment. I don't know if that's the same thing you're dealing with, but I don't like it; it's weird.

I don't share my Hubs, I share the Hubs of others I read.  Sharing each others work was an effective way of generating traffic, but now we have had this tool taken from us.

They have moved it down lower on the page and put a large ad where it was before...

This doesn't seem beneficial to us; making people search to share? I was here for over a month before I even realized what that was on the side of my page. Newer people or visitors to HP may not know about the capability and will very well overlook i

True they've moved the share for FB, Twitter, and Pinterest down further on the page, still right side, but "Hubpage followers" is not there.

What the heck's that about? We can't share hubs among hubbers? That's where I'd prefer to do most of my sharing! Why would they take that away?

Oddly, I see it here on this question, but not on any hubs. Hopefully it's a temporary glitch.

The last time a change like this happened was when they removed the share button for a bunch of social networks.  The reason was that many people were complaining about being spammed.   Does anyone have an official statement from Hubpages?

No, I have received nothing and to add to that, there are forums all over inquiring this same thing. Clearly, this is not something that's sitting well with hubbers... I'd certainly like to know what HP has to say about it.

I never even noticed the share button for followers, but I kind of like the social buttons on bottom. Most readers forget to scroll back up to LIKE or SHARE, so maybe we should wait and see how this works.

That's a good point. I did actually think about the idea of having to scroll back up a page to "Like" or "Share" but not being used to it, it seemed kind of weird and I missed it for a moment. I would like the "Share" button back. I do it for others.

I noticed that you received at least 8 responses to your question. This is really a good thing because you already have your answer before I could respond to it. I am happy that you were able to get answers so quickly. Hubpages is  wonderful. Just ask, and the answer shall be given to you. Have a wonderful rest of the week.

I know that my followers are reading my hubs because they are commenting, sometimes within the first few minutes after publishing. Hubbers can always go to MY ACCOUNT - FOLLOWING - HUBBERS YOU FOLLOW. You can then click on RECENT HUBS to find out the latest hubs from those you follow. If you follow a ton of hubbers though, it may be difficult to go through them all. Though I would think the latest hub topic will peak your interest.

Honestly, I didn't even know about the SHARE button until everybody starting posting about it today. I went to one of my articles and then noticed what everyone was talking about. However, I must admit that I kind of like the social buttons scrolling along with the hub article. This way, readers don't forget to go back and LIKE or SHARE when they are done reading.
