  East Coast, U.S. I work very early, so I'm done my computer time by about 8pm... I always feel like when I get up in the morning I've missed all the action. It seems there's pages and pages that happen between 8pm and 6am EST.

  Oh, I see what you are saying! No... its that time here too. Even though I sometimes check in as late as 8pm, often my lunch break at work is the last time I'm here. I don't expect to be on tonight at all, and its been so dead on this thread all day, I was just posting for when the night crew eventually shows up... I didn't mean that it was night now!   Interesting... I didn't know that. I was lucky enough to see some of his originals, in Las Vegas of all places when I was there for a convention years ago. It was so amazing to see the real thing up close rather than a reproduction.

hmm...

- being on a far away beach with warm sand and blue waves as far as the eye goes?

- being in the arms of someone who loves you completely just for yourself...and wanting nothing in return?

- a day at the spa, lots of pampering and massage?

- Laundry done, food cooked, house cleaned and the whole family looked after by itself?

- having a whole day to yourself... just quiet silence....

back from my vacation who missed me? anyway, what did I miss? I see lyrics is in hospital hope she is better now . . . I had a great time in SF walking up and down those spectaclar hills, eating sushi, saw avatar in 3D on the IMAX screen which was stupendous, went to the Calif Academy to see the new rainforest exhibit and aquarium, and ate out a lot - but actually glad to be back in the dull old countryside where life is green and blue skies were waiting - also, a little bit of snow on the mountains! so somebody, fill me in on the haps around here?!

I actually thought about logging on on the hotel's computer but passed it by, because I had made a vow to not use the puter or cell for those 3 days - and I only used the cell for a couple important calls! this is history for me, and it was not easy because I am bonded to my computer! But it was all good.

Aw, Storm. Maybe a couple of Advils and a lie-down will help. You might have been in front of the computer tooooo looooong! Or ( my own preference when the dark mood comes upon me) a hot bubble bath with candles and soft music.

  I know when I have done something I was meant to do. I don't think I am smart, it is just two or three things fall into place and I feel it. Like the e-mail from my brother... It just clicked that I needed to share it.

Did y'all hear the latest about wsp2469?
So far now that account and two or three others that mentioned him and mentioned publishing his unpublished material were banned.
Supposedly, even if the new material is not flagged they are pre-judging it and now anyone who claims he or she has his unpublished stuff will have his or her account banned.

  I love your poetry. Some time, when I find it, I have two I will put in a hub. Sometimes poetry can say it all, without the gory details and be more effective than me, with all my guts falling out.

well i just pubbed 2 more with 6 more coming in the next 22 hours lol

and my past will have to be a story in itself ... i have no poems about it ... most of what i have was written when i was with my ex or before i met him so some are well over 14 yrs old lol but i am glad you enjoy them

  I never wanted to be a poet, it just was the only way to get published once upon a time before HubPages. This site would limit how many words too, which was so wrong! But, they went down and only a few remained when the new owners bought it. All that writing was gone.
  
  I grew to love poetry then. Still do. That one was very moving for me, because I felt what you went through.

  no I read and commented. Poetry is the way our heart sings, or cries. It has a moving quality that isn't derived from an abundance of words, but of an abundance of feelings.
  
  I read Sophs poem today, and it made me feel all bubbly. It was kind of snarky and funny.
