               Well this evening I am off to a Birthday party for my youngest son's girlfriend. Her mom is throwing the party and they are exceptional hosts. The food is Indian tonight and it will be superb!
               I spent yesterday jamming with my son, and learnt some new guitar moves, all the kids and their kids are doing well, my daughter and her tribe of 5 kids just moved in to a house where they all have their own rooms, (even the little ones) and I just saved a mate a cool $3,000 on a repair to his car. You could say it has been an exceptional week.
               Now tell me. How goes it for you?

                  Wow! That does sound like a great week. Well...Let's see, comparatively, things are pretty boring here...but good! I'm working diligently for my freelance clients and enjoying the articles I'm researching and writing. The disabled gentleman I'm caring for has been doing fairly well, even though it's humid around here. My primroses are blooming and my cyclamen are coming up for the first time.
                  
                  On the other hand, I need to play catch-up on some school work, and am having a terrible time keeping the newest kitten out of the toilet paper - she makes an awful mess with it. But she is hilarious.

                     That sounds very cool! The kitten will keep you busy, but they are so much fun! So glad it's good for you.Caring for others is hard, but has it's own rewards. I always like to hear about carers. Carers are special people. Good stuff!

                        Yes...this is my millionth kitten...I never tire of them But this one is one of the strangest I've ever had. She likes to squish her face into the bend of my arm as hard as she can. Half the time she's a sweetheart and the other half she's feral.
                        
                        Thanks for your kind words about carers. *sigh* It's a tough situation with him. He's in bad shape, but a real trooper. He hasn't got many people left, so we do the best we can for the poor guy. Although, I'm afraid he may be getting beyond our ability to care for him properly. Yuck. I hate to think about that. Anyway...to me caring's what makes the world go 'round. Eventually I'll finish school, get my license, and become a professional carer - of a certain kind anyway.

       not yet.  still trying to though.  i didn't hear anything back from ups, so i just filed out an application with a few construction companies recently.  i wasn't originally planning on doing something like that, but we'll see  how it works out.  i guess.

       I'm sure that if choc chip cookies worked last time in our peace effort with the zombies - cake would probably go over great!
       
       I hope you baked a lot of cake.  We'll probably need about enough for 50 - each zombie eats about 3 x what a human male would eat.  they get hungry for sweet stuff!  I believe because of the lack of love . . . must research that theory.  :

    Hi Sam and all you other tribers. Looks to be a good Monday here. I don't think we have scattered just really busy and haven't had the time to play lately or at least in my case that's what is going on. I'm writing hubs but haven't gotten any of them published yet as they aren't quite finished, working on some freelance stuff and trying to finish getting ready for my trip this coming Sunday.
    
    What's everyone else up too? I know Pinky is still without internet access so it will be at least another week or better before she is back. She wanted me to tell you all hi and that she misses you.

    Hey all.. Just sitting here watching my money fly out the door. Came home this afternoon to no water.  Looks like our well-pump went. I'm going to have to get serious here.  Not sure my $6 in Adsense is going to cover a new pump...
    
    Ah well... such is life. 
    
    Aside from too dry and expensive, it was a nice day so far.  Went to the little town near us for music class with the kids and then wandered around.  Bought some chili dogs from my favorite hot dog vendor for a treat and let my little guy talk me into buying him his first can of grape soda which was a hit.
    
    Everyone is just about up from nap, and the repair guy is outside, so I'll have to run.
