    sorry to hear that man.  you should've seen the cardinals and packers game, as both teams scored a combined 96 points in the game, setting an nfl record.  it was a great game trust me.

    I'm not a writer like some of the people here on HubPages.  I'm really into politics.  I came to this site while I was chasing Tea Baggers.  I wrote a few hubs, now I'm waiting for the Congress to come back. Meantime I'm really enjoying the forums. The Tribe is the best!

                               oh yeah that.  nah, i don't care about that type of stuff to be honest.  if i remember correctly, i just misread what you said, at the time, and apologized to you in that forum, but I don't know if you read it or not though.  however, it's no big deal as i don't like holding grudges over stuff like that.  your not still upset over that are ya?  if so, then i apologize yet again. 
                               
                               however, i don't take anything too seriously in forums by people to be honest.  there's only 4 hubbers on here that i take seriously.  i won't cite their names here, as im sure they know who they are, but unless your one of them, then i don't linger on petty things like that in the past.  no offense to you of course as you seem like a nice guy.  just saying is all.  besides, since then i read things a lot more carefully then i used to before responding, so it's a good lesson to learn.  lol

                                        You told me and Spidey a story about your Friend killing  a spider on a tree.  The spider was the size of a small dog.  You later said all spiders do not sting you to paralize you; they inject acid in your body to liquidfy your insides so they can suck it out. It's funny you dont remember that.  I'll never forget it! Best campfire story I heard here at the tribe.

    I peeked in your other thread.  I can't think of any movies that I would nominate from this year.  Maybe Up or The Hangover.  I just don't know enough about what was released this year.

       well that's a good question. i know a lot of critics think up might get nominated for best picture along with "inglourious basterds", "precious", "hurt locker", "a serious man", and i forget who else at the moment, but i know those films are being mentioned right now in the running.

    really? i thought that was one of tarantino's best films he's made.  not as great as pulp fiction, but it was a good war movie.

       It was Tarantino's Best, but not Deer Hunter best picture.  Think about the winners over the last 20-25 years.  New movies, while entertaining just don't seem to have the story and the acting ability of stars from several years ago.
       
       I do know which movie will win this year hands down though.....

          well like i said in another forum.  i don't think it should win obviously since its historically inaccurate and excessively violent at times.  if it were up to me, i think precious deserves it, but i have a feeling that avatar will win it since the academy is so worried about  ratings this year.

    We were having the same discussion in two forums.  I read an interview with the REAL Michael Oher and he said it was less violent than what he really went through. 
    
    I am planning to see Avatar when I get home.  That is one of the things on my to do list.
