                      yep - I'm staying in an old victorian hotel and will go see Avatar on the big screen, also go to the Cal Academy of Science and possibly shop - also chinatown and north beach and it will just be tooo tooo much!

                            yeh, honestly I get up every dadburn day btwn 6:30 and 7 am and even on my sundays off - so possibly it will not be possible to actually sleep in!

       Sacramento is about an hour from wine country and I think depending on which beaches you go to - you can get to the ocean in 2 hours or less.  I don't spend much time in Sacramento, only been there twice.  I live between Santa Rosa and Sonoma, in the heart of wine country - and it is really, really nice here.

       We have about 30 of them, I sell them on Etsy.  They do not hold water.  I have flowers in a few, the rest are boxed.

                I don't know about advice - boys and girls are so different. My daughter has drama, my son is laid back & easy going.  He is 14 and just broke his collar bone & had surgery.

                   Ouch! That is the most painful thing. Helped two boyfriends through it. Second was Sean's dad. He never got over it and used to rub his shoulder when we would argue (body language for you're getting on my nerves) so our marriage fell apart because I was always walking on eggshells and he was always rubbing that shoulder.
                   It was years later (marriage over) when I asked him. "We aren't even having a fight, why are you rubbing your shoulder?"
                   He said "this, oh it still bothers me sometimes, when it's cold or damp out. what about fighting?"
                   SOOO, ruined that marriage.

    Looks like we're in for another doozy here in the northeast.  I'm am most definitely sick and tired of snow!  Where's spring already?  Anyone up for roast groundhog tonight??? Him and his 6 more weeks of winter are gonna be the end of my tenuous hold on sanity.
    
    I wouldn't mind if it didn't keep getting me stuck at work (have to stay at the hotel nearby so I can get back and forth...) Plus, I'm supposed to take my youngest to the dr.'s today to get his stitches out, and I'm worried about putting that off.  Plus, daycare is closed, so hubbies stuck home w/ the kids, and he works contract, so no pay if he's home... blah... blah... blah...
    
    Whew!  Needed to get that off my chest.  Now, who wants doughnuts and coffee?  I do I do!!! *raises hand and waves emphatically like the 7 yr old she really is in mental-age years*
