Hey just poppin' in to drop a few bags of cheetos... I hear we're low.
Love my boys dearly, but they are working on my last nerve today. The stubborn one is sick and fussy and is literally hanging off of my legs and screaming at the top of his lungs periodically. I've tried coddling and being understanding... at this point, he needs one of those shirts that says "I'm the reason Mommy drinks." Just fooling... I love the little tike more than the world, and he comes by his stubborness quite honestly from me and his dad.
He's in a "time out" right now, and the laptop is the one way I can keep an eye on him w/o him realizing I'm paying attention while he's in trouble.
Ok... time to go hug and make up. He'll have me wrapped around his finger again in seconds.I'm sure being at home has its challenges... its good you've found things that keep you busy. But, honestly, if I had my druthers, I'd be a stay at home mom. I like my career, but I love being a mother (as trying as it is somedays
). But, its just not in the cards for us. I am lucky that I work 4 ten hour days, so I'm home 3 days a week with my kiddos. I'll take that for now.
At least I feel a little better that I've been a member for 2 1/2 more months than you and have less hubs! I was really feeling inadequate! (Just joking about all this... I worry sometimes that my humor doesn't come across when typed... I do realize that your life is probably just as busy as mine, just in different ways.)

TS- the one thing you have that i dont is children of your own. i sit here with just me and no kids or pets(hoping to change that someday soon) but i usually dont have anything to do but write. i have my house chores on a schedule as not to get them all done in one day therefore leaving me with something to do each day. the two days a week i dont usually write are friday and saturday with terry is off work unless we are just chilling here so no my days arent all that busy lol not til i start making dinner anyway.
i knew you were joking and i think its awesome that you work and pay attention to your kids and all because i know a lot of parents that put the computer before their kids. it would be different if their kids were in their teens and for the most part can do for themselves but not much different.
i use to live with a girl that stayed on the computer from the time she got up at 9 or 10 in the morning til 3 and 4 in the morning of the next day.. hope that made sense lol but anyway she had a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old and she had trained the 3 old to get diapers and wipes and take them to her so she could change the 1 yr old's little behind. the rest of the day they ran around in dog poop and piss, dirty diapers laying around the house, food and food wrappers everywhere, and so much more. i would clean as much as i could but with no help from her and i was working a full time job. she eventually pushed the kids off on me so i was then juggling them, work, and cleaning. point of this is i know where you are coming from and you should not now nor ever feel inadequate. i found it hard to maintain a social life and keep up with my facebook, myspace and myyearbook accounts. you should be very proud of yourself that you aren't like this mother was. i am proud of you for putting them first and not the online thing!
major props to you and all the other parents that put their kids first.
