I am a high school grad. I have taken a couple of college courses but nothing worth mentioning. Other than that I am pretty much self educated. Just curious who I might be conversing with.
I am a high school graduate. I'm also self educated-philosophy, psychology, religious history, ancient(world) history, business, human beings(including the brain/mind) and religious doctrines.

I dropped out of high school at 15, went back in my early 20s and got my Grade 12 equivalency. I got a diploma in Library Techniques from a 2-year college and also took a few English and philosophy courses at university. While college gave me some critical skills (and a career), I'm mostly self-taught through reading, I read voraciously as a teenager.
A BA in Art Studies and Humanities with minor concentration in Psychology. I planned on getting an MA but it slowly disintegrated when I started working and earning. I wonder where it (the plan) is now... Haha
Cool! There was a time when I entertained the thought of going into either archi or studio arts (painting) after my art studies course. Anyway, I hope you hub about architecture
Went to University in Honors program for Psych, almost died from my appendix exploding, got exempted from last exams and sent home to recover (17 hours away) and never returned. Someday I shall continue what I started, but at the moment, it is just far too expensive!
I didn't get to graduate. I got very sick two months before graduation, and then had to make a choice... Stay in my house another year with all the fighting and screaming and degradation.. OR make a run for it to Indiana.
Four years of college, but no diploma because I kept changing my major; Law, Business, Communications, MIS. I finally had to drop and go to work to make ends meet, but I hope to go back and finish up next year.
"The president has set a national goal to have the highest proportion of college-educated adults in the world by 2020, and it’s one of the four guiding goals of the economic-stimulus package’s education grants."The above quote was taken from the link...
Just curious--has any research been done on this? I'm talking about those with some college education as well as graduates with any kind of degree). On the one hand, Hubpages may attract a more educated and literate audience (both in terms of readers and writers) but on the other hand, the site may...
The common wisdom is that you should go to college, get a good education, and find a job afterwards and you will be financially successful. Isn't that an outdated concept? The average college grad is unemployed for two years after graduation, and when I went to teller training a month after I...
Students in North Carolina schools have, for a long time, been all required to take courses each year in the following subjects: Math, History, and English. In light of the belt-tightening that many school districts are coping with, other programs are being done away with (such as art...
