      That sounds like the kind of extra push I need to publish more, I'm in!
      My goal is to publish at least 5 hubs and include my own original videos.
      They are new things for me, both participating in a hub challenge and creating original videos to go with my articles. 
      I was just thinking I should create some deadlines for myself, the hub challenge comes at the right time. Thanks!!

            I joined the challenge a few days late thinking "I can do it!" but May got so busy that I was able to publish only 3/5. It may sound like I failed the challenge, but honestly, if I hadn't joined, I would ave published zero hubs, so I am actually pretty happy with the three that I got.   Thanks for the incentive!

      I might actually to get one out this month.  I'm learning this Mac pretty fast.  So my goal is to get at least one this month.

         Great!  I haven't actually tried to learn a Mac though I have tried to work on a friends and it didn't go smoothly.  Hope you are having an easier time of it.  It seemed like no small feat - at least to a life long Window user.

   Write, Write, and Write.  I am editing some of my old hubs with plans to write new ones after the edit evolution. So far, the editing is proven fruitful.

            Sorry to hear that, I ran into a similar situation this time last year. I had 'planned' to start adding hubs, but soon as I decided on that, work picked up and it never happened. ^_^

      I would say, off to a great start. Just got an email stating my hub was no only edited, but it's being added to Dengarden!

         I did not read your previous posts again, but just so you know, new hubs are automatically considered to be moved to niche sites, you do not have to submit them.

            That's good to know. I remember that when the niche sites were introduced, there were mixed responses and some hubbers didn't want their hubs going to niche sites without their permission.  But I think it's a good mood, so I'm glad HP is doing it this way. Saves me the hassle of submitting it lol

       Congrats Bills! I had more unproductive days that I would have liked, and I only published 2/5 so far, but I still have 10 days!   
       Since my goal is to have an original video in each of the hubs, that is actually the part that is slowing me down the most.
       I thought I was going to write first and then make an ad hoc video, but it turns out it's easier to do the opposite: make a video and then write about it.
       Now that I have that figured out, it's going to be easy-peasy... I hope.

          Yeah, from watching YouTube it seems the more popular channels have a basic outline (or use highlights), then go from there.
          
          From the perspective of my writing company, we've had several orders for writing articles relative to a particular video (which I think is close to your mentioned approach).

    Fun! I once did a 30-day 30-hub challenge, quit a chore but a very productive month back then. Am  I still on time to join? I will try to get 4 hubs up this month and possibly, at least one accompanying video. The video is the time consuming part. Hopefully, I won't be too busy, but 4 articles are my goal. I already have one published this month so far, so three left to go.

       Alexandry - Glad you're joining us!  I've already found that the camaraderie of the challenge has inspired me to write more hubs than I would've before including getting out an entry for the Mother's Day contest.  Looking forward to reading your articles!

          Okay, I've hit my goal of 5 hubs for the month.  I am now officially revising my goal to 7. I am doing this largely because I don't have many ideas for good articles and the ideas I have (other than holiday articles which I'm going to try not to let myself do right now because they are easier for me) will take some time.  This means I'll have to push myself and stay focused to get two more done.  I need people to keep me accountable if anyone doesn't mind as I feel that post reinforcement pause coming on which could easily carry me the rest of the month.Hope everyone else is progressing toward their goals, as well!

    Good approach to set a goal that's slightly challenging, but within reach.
    
    I'm in that 'pause' state myself as I've been taking advantage of the good weather and getting active outside more and slacked off on the Hubs, as I still have writing for clients too. So little time! lol
    
    But, I am currently putting together an outline for my next Hub, then I'll be half way there!

    Well, got put in a brace for the next 4 weeks to treat carpal tunnel. Not going to hit 5 hubs this month, but I did manage to finish the one I've been working on for about 2 weeks... LOL.

    I managed 10 for the month but have only managed one and part of another so far for June so I'm not keeping up the pace.  The challenge really helped me keep on track and keep putting out articles.  Maybe we'll do another challenge sometime over the summer and I'll get back with the program!  Thanks everyone for the support and motivation.
