Who else here wants to commiserate about being old and stupid?
Well if it makes you feel any better the last time I was any good at chess was when I was in middle school.
I even tried to get into the game again and I just lost interest. I have no patience for thinking about future moves. I can't see possible moves anymore.
Dylan just released a pretty fine new album, aged 79.
My favorite track:

Sentimental, gloomy and hypnotic, perfect.
I'm trying not to shrink from past losses or coming losses, these days. That album helps with that kind of stuff.
I don't know about stupid, but feeling my age for certain. That sh*t creeps up on ya!
I never could get my head round chess and all the thinking in advance that was involved!
Sorry for my less than cheerful post. I also have an abscessed tooth that is killing me. And the quack dentist refuses to give me pain meds that would actually work.
That is too bad. I hope you feel better soon or find something that works.
There are pain meds that would work just fine, but the dentists are scared to death of the DEA/FDA and refuse to prescribe them.
I've just posted an article on this whole nanny state bureaucracy thing. It appears to actually be getting some results. I'd love to post the link. Comments there would be much appreciated. Unfortunately, I can't do it unless HP gives me special dispensation.
There is a question. Not HP. Aside in best interest to not care.

I can't believe it, tell me true rightwinger, are you crazy? This Mourdock thing in Indiana has got to be the last straw. So, God uses rape to bring children into the world, yeah, right. After what happened in Missouri, I would have thought that any GOP candidate would not be so dumb as...

"World Public Opinion, a project managed by the Program on International Policy Attitudes at the University of Maryland, conducted a survey of American voters that shows that Fox News viewers are significantly more misinformed than consumers of news from other sources. What’s more, the study...

I was searching different topics to find hubs of interest and hubs to link to blogs. This hub I picked out doesn't have an author picture. I never ran across a hub like this http://hubpages.com/topics/business-and … stress/951When did they start making hubs like that?

Chess has always been a a great past time. I simply love this game.Without any player around, online chess seems a good way to go about it. Still I enjoy playing it offline, a one on one match gives proves to be of much more fun always. So how do you like it!
