What an interesting piece of advice. How are we to accomplish this? (Does the staff read the content of what they mail out to us?)

Linda, I suspect these are old drafts that HP is pulling from the archives. Just as they recommend we authors revisit, update, and edit our work, so should whomever it is that is responsible for giving us "valid" advice by way of the newsletter. It seems each week, there are glaring disparities and/or typos. Is there a supervisor who oversees the publishing of the weekly newsletter? I think not.

Yes, how appropriate. If only we had a viable comments section.

Hi Carb Diva, I noticed that, too. Really? They want us to use the non-existent comment section? Wow!

Not only that, but they give kudos to the profile pic for the "fresh face of the week". Haven't they encouraged us to use photos of ourselves as our profile identification? No animals, symbols, etc.

      Can you say/spell C-O-N-T-R-A-D-I-C-T-I-O-N?

I saw that. I stared at it, bemused for several seconds. big_smile

You beat me to it. How ridiculous to recommend using a function that is no longer functioning. On the plus aside, I applaud the reduction of the number of exclamation points in the newsletter. This weekly communication is always good for a bit of a giggle.

Oh how I wish we had the comments reinstalled as promised some time ago!

It's true though, people commenting can provide great questions and ideas to expand the article or even craft a totally new one. Even the questions and answers were a great way to add content to the article.

It was a recycled newsletter. I've seen it before.

Well spotted. I have seen a comments tab on some articles recently, but it doesn't seem to go anywhere. If HP editors were hoping we would eventually forget about comments, the plan has not worked.

It's like rubbing salt in the wound.
