I have a few articles featured but they have wildly different scores even tough I don't do anything different in them.
In any case, I would like to post here one of the "worst" once and get some input from the community. , thanks in advanced!

Hi there,
Beginning by insulting your readers is not a good look and will end in many people pressing the back button.
The article, on giving it a quick scan, seems to be a pure opinion piece or blog post, which is not what HubPages wants. What it does want are magazine-style, informative articles... even if they are based on your opinion.
The images, however they are generated, must cite the source.
You might check out the content on the network site https://turbofuture.com which is where this topic would ideally end up to gain traffic.
Thank you very much for the tips and the help. I get what you are saying, I have one of my articles in Turbo, I think that my problem is exactly what you have mentioned in your article on the topic, I don't see the problem because I am too close to my article.
As a noob writer the distinctions between magazine-style and other types of articles are lost to me so I will have to rely on people with experience and their writing to give me the pointers that I need to keep learning.
Again, thanks for the reply.
P.S. This is the article I mean: How-To-Write-a-Good-Article-For-HubPages
P.P.S: Have HubPages locked the comment section for everyone or just me?
Comments disappeared years ago and nowadays exist in only a sketchy, half-assed kind of way.
The scores for articles and writers don't really matter. They can give you an indication that you're doing something wrong if they're very low but they don't really influence anything.
Thanks for the reply.
Did they give a reason why they disabled comments?
There are lots of forum threads on the topic of comments which you can search out. I'm wary of getting into that discussion as it's been done to death. But the reasons are essentially "technical". Read the old forum threads for the various interpretations.
A commenting feature is available on these Network Sites
https://axleaddict.com
https://wanderwisdom.com
https://letterpile.com
https://soapboxie.com
https://delishably.com

You'll see a comment box or a button that says Join the Discussion, which leads you to our new commenting system, Rojo.com.
I agree with theraggededge. The last sentence seems like an insult to me, too. In addition, unless I’ve overlooked it, you haven’t mentioned either of the apps in your title in your article.
Thank you for your comments, have already started changing the text
This definitely talks down to people which is not the right way for a writer to advance.
Perhaps this is generated by AI which shows no compassion.
As for me...I choose to be left behind.
My own words will be just fine.
Thank you.
Definitely not AI. It doesn't do opinions or talk down to people
If you mean generative AI, you are right! The current GAI models were censored to the point where they consider any negative language as offensive and are not willing to generate any text or picture based on it.
Brenda
Thank you for your reply.
1) I respect your opinion!
2) I respect your choose.... you do you!
No this article is not generated by AI.
Yes I do use AI assistance to help me in writing.
I agreed with Paul, Brenda, Linda, and Bev. Right from the beginning I found the read as a blog. And I'm also worried by those numbers in bracket (1)...(2), which looks like a reference, but seems to be used as anchor link(not working) That break all the rules of HubPages as a magazine style writing plantform. Forgive me for pressing the 'x' or back button. Thanks.

Help! I woke up this morning to find that one of my mid-range performing hubs, "What is Creation, by Definition?" (http://lauraschneider.hubpages.com/hub/What-is-creation) had plummeted to a score of 55. It was 74 on Sept. 8th, 2013, and I know it is a well-written article with 3...

Is there a cap on the maximum number of words you can put in an article?. For an article to be featured in needs to fall in the 700-1250 words range, but how far beyond that range can you go?.
