    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Would you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks.

Hi, Arun. I have a few ideas that may help. First, I think you need to change the first section. It sounds like you are going to discuss your personal life with no reference to the lives of other people. You need to change this. If you could add to the title without making it too long, that would be good as well. You also need to check for a few writing errors and spaces in the article.

In addition, I think you need to be careful with what you say in some places. I think the title of the last section needs to be changed because people may think that you are referring to one particular skin color and could view the passage as insulting when they read the section. In addition, people might think that the section about housewives is derogatory. Some housewives also work outside the home or have a lot to do within the home when they look after their children.

I've waited one day for someone else to respond. Since no one else is willing to answer, I will share my thoughts.

This is not a "magazine-style" article, or even a blog. It's the beginning of a story that has no end, no resolution, and frankly, I don't see the point. That is Problem #1.

#2 - Hub pages encourages their writers to break up text with illustrative photos.

#3 - Perhaps the most troubling is the references made to women being gossipy and other gender assumptions. Hub Pages is an American publication, and although we have readers and writers from around the globe, stereotypical typecasting simply is not acceptable here.

Please accept my comments not as a criticism, but offered to help and instruct.
