I was just browsing through a few hubs by other writers and noticed that everytime I went to read one on Discover Hubpages I had a Spam Alert 'we have stopped this site' pop up! Not sure if it's on the other sites, I will check.

Nell, I just went into one of my articles on Discover and didn't get that message.

Evidently it's the fault of AVG smile

I haven't come across that issue yet, Nell.  However, I have noticed that HubPages has been featuring new articles on hubpages.com without also featuring them on Discover Hubpages.  I'm not sure why they are doing so, because they usually don't feature an article on one site without doing so on the other.

Why should hubpages feature an article on hubpages.com and then on discover.hubpages.com if I understand it that way?                                        Featured articles it seems are home to Discover? And are then moved to a network site.

I contacted the HubPages Team on this matter, and they explained to me that a new article featured on hubpages.com doesn't get featured on discover.hubpages.com until it receives so many views.  I had thought that any article that HubPages approved for publication was featured automatically on both sites, but it turns out that it's not that way.

We have reported the false flag to AVG Antivirus. Hopefully, it will be corrected soon.
