Hello. Why can't I write comments on the posts I read or on mine? Can someone help me, I'm new writing here.
This is a frequently asked question, nowadays from newbies. But if you read a story on a network site, like AxelAddict, or Delishaby, you can jot down your comments under 'Rojo'.
Comments are not available on all sites, but we are working on it. Comments are available on the following sites.
https://axleaddict.com
https://wanderwisdom.com
https://letterpile.com
https://soapboxie.com
https://delishably.com
https://pairedlife.com
The comment system was disabled some years ago when the original HubPages was taken over by a new owner. Something to do with platform incompatibilities we were told. Much bellyaching on the part of writers led to the installation of Rojo, a cumbersome set up that is only available on a few niche sites.
In the unlikely event that somebody has the patience to navigate Rojo and makes a comment, writers are not notified, so all manner of scurrilous content can be dumped onto our articles and we would never know.
In my opinion, we'd be better off with no comment availability than the current system.
That's a fair and accurate summary of the situation, in my opinion.
Please Matt, (of course, I know it's not you personally) don't extend that Rojo thing to other sites unless you have a notification-to-the-writer function.
The idea that someone can attach racist/sexist or other hate comments to my articles without my knowledge is abhorrent. I can't possibly look through my more than 1,000 articles on the chance someone has dumped spam there.
We have moderators and text filters to catch content like that.

So, I've always thought it was the polite thing to do to reply to commenters, and thank them for their time and input, and I've made an effort to do so consistently. However, I'm wondering if this is now being discouraged by HP, as there is no available comment box for replies on hubs that have been...

Do you read negative comments received on hubs?People can give you a bad review on a product, on your writing or on a business. Do you take in negative comments lightly?

I never get any comments on my hubs so I have no idea what people think of their content. My latest is "Run for your life." But I would love to hear criticism on any of them. Thank you!!

Have you deleted some of the comments on your hubs?I immensely value the comments from readers and as such do not want to delete any one of them. What about you?

Why do people write personal fan mail notes, but yet haven't commented on an article?Am I the only one who sits in utter amazement at people who send personal fan mail notes telling you how wonderful, inspiring, creative and informative your writing is, only to find out they have NEVER even written...

Hello guys and gals! I've returned to HP after a lengthy absence and I've noticed they have apparently stripped us of our ability to post comments... How are you all dealing with this unfortunate new change? I mean...How in the world am I supposed to comment on Dora Weithers (MsDora) almost daily...
