What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex?

I notice a mans eyes and smile first most of the time.

well, i notice a man's eyes right away, and how he carries himself, and if he is nicely groomed. i also notice a man's hands. i really like nice hands for some reason. and of course a nice smile!

Hm....for a girl.............The eyes here as well. Especially the one that you look at, and somehow it can pierce you heart with just a look.....

    I always notice hair first...

    is it short or long
    curly or straight
    do they have any?
    black or brown
    red or blond
    clean or dirty
    combed/brushed or messy
    natural or styled

How a man cares for his hair tells me a lot about him.

The smile.  The eyes would be second.  I have a terrible smile so I'm always on the look out for a great one.  My boys tell me I always look way too serious and it makes people nervous.

people tell my husband that too...

Things I notice first, posture, facial expressions, how the person talks to other peopele, body language I guess..plus eyes, chest and hands for what I notice first physically in a man..

Are you after me again????  lol Not a bad idea though.  I've never had a manicure.  I've just never thought of hands being a feature to look for.

That's a relief.  I was afraid you were gonna be one of those that claims a real man wouldn't be afraid to get a manicure.  I like to think I at least look like a real man and the thought of a manicure gives me the willies!

First Impressions stick with us, the smile, the eyes, the teeth even the way they walk into a room and can catch your eye, but there not always enough, to really get an impressio of someone you need to know them frist, know there likes and dislikes and look for compatability between you.

I notice anyone if he or she interact with me.
    manner of talking
    smile
    frankness
    attitude
    nature

    and if does not interact

    then

    body language
    dressing
    personality

I tend to notice their hair and the set of their mouth.  Then their eyes and whether or not their nose looks like it has been broken.  I also tend to notice how I feel around them -- that intuition thing.

The first thing I notice is demeanor; in particular, level of confidence is conveyed by how a man carries himself.  Next, I look for intelligence and "presence" in the eyes, someone who is there in the moment.
