hey guys. it's been a while since i've been on the forums. but i need some support right now, and i'm not getting it at home.
i lost one of my best friends yesterday. after praying and praying for two days that he would make it, God finally called him home. i loved this guy very much and this is the closest friend i've ever lost. it just sucks.
A FRIEND IN NEED
A friend in need is a friend in deed.
Yes in deed! A friend is always in need.
In need of a hug or a smile on their face.
Or just in need for a friend to walk into the place.
In need of some comfort or warmth from within
and these are the things we do for a friend.
In need of a chat or a walk in the park.
In need of a "Good night" on the phone n the dark.
In need of some wisdom, encouragement, or enlightening.
In need of a hand held when it's scary or frightening.
These are the things we do again and again.
These are the things we do for a friend.
Your friend "Ylynd"
Sorry for your loss. . . . . .God Bless!!!
It is always difficult to let go of people whom we care about and love. My grandfather is 93 years old, and my mom and my aunt's, of course, would like for him to live forever. But he suffers a great deal of pain most of the time, and he's not able to do what he wants to do. His quality of life is simply not there. Sometimes our passing is a blessing.
My deepest sympathies for you loss! *hugs*
Hi Becca. Sorry to hear about your loss, especially someone so young.
He will always be in your heart, so he is close by.
You've got my support. I acknowledge your pain and wish you much peace.
I can imagine what you must be going through.... (have lost someone close to me too)...so sending all my love and restful thoughts your way....
Sometimes, one has no choice but to let time take it's course and eventually let go....
and i don't want to seem like the whiney "look at me" type. just sayin...lol
Virtual hug from me too. Its a sad loss for you, you will get over it one day but its very painful just now.
Don't you realize that your friend is giving you one right now?
Thank you so much everyone. Greek, you brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. Thank you. : )
Big cyber-hug to you, Becca. I'm so very sorry to hear about your loss. It's even more tragic when someone so young passes away. I'm sorry you aren't getting the support you need at home. You are in my thoughts.
A virtual hug from me too! Sorry to hear of your loss!
Thank you wordscribe, poppa, TI. I appreciate all of you so much.
Oh Becca I am so sorry for your loss. *HUGS* *HUGS* *HUGS* *HUGS* You have my support and sympathy sweet Becca
Becca, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss...love him and remember him and the joy he add to your days.
I'm saddened by your news and my condolences on your lost friendship. Please stay strong.
Hey Becca, Sorry to hear about your loss. I know it hurts but rather than a loss lets consider it's Heavens gain! Lots of hugs, you're in good company here. God bless you.
Becca....My arms are around you, as are all of your fellow Hubbers...Your sorrow is felt by all...Peace to you Sweetheart...Larry
Wow. I'm so very sorry Becca. I stand in the circle with everyone else and send hugs.
Let it out, girl, you're safe here.
Gee honey, I am so sorry. I have been there myself. (((((((hug))))))) much love
Awww, dam! That's so harsh, so sorry for your loss, hon. (((hug))) You haven't seem him for the last time, yet. There's something to what Greek said. Don't forget to eat and brush your hair, doesn't sound like anyone will take care of you there. A long bath with candles and prayer can be comforting, too.
Thank all of you so very much. You guys really are too kind. My mother told me to close my eyes and see his smile. That's really all I need to do. I've been doing it all day, and it's not so bad anymore. I can't tell you all how much I appreciate you. You are all such great people. I'm happy to be a part of this community.
Big hugs, Becca.....losing someone close to you is never easy. Take care of yourself and remember the warmth and goodtimes of the time spent with your friend.
It hurts like hell doesn't it? I lost my beautiful daughter-inlaw at a young age. I found a way to cope by emulating her goodness however I can. I keep her in my mind and remember all her goodness. Somehow it allows me to feel she is still in my life.
A big hug to you, and may you keep all the good memories alive.
Many hugs to you, Becca.
I lost a lifelong friend a few years ago, but I still remember and treasure the moments.
Be good to yourself.

I can see why they think I'm nuts. To them I am a stay at home mum of two kids, so why is my house such a mess, and why don't I go out at evenings or weekends. Its coz I am tap tap tapping away at my keyboard.'Why' they ask, fairly enough. 'Because I am trying to learn as much as I can about...
