I need a virtual hug

   hey guys. it's been a while since i've been on the forums. but i need some support right now, and i'm not getting it at home.
   
   i lost one of my best friends yesterday. after praying and praying for two days that he would make it, God finally called him home. i loved this guy very much and this is the closest friend i've ever lost. it just sucks.

      It is always difficult to let go of people whom we care about and love. My grandfather is 93 years old, and my mom and my aunt's, of course, would like for him to live forever. But he suffers a great deal of pain most of the time, and he's not able to do what he wants to do. His quality of life is simply not there. Sometimes our passing is a blessing.

         you're right. and sometimes it sucks. he was so young. he was my age, 27. didn't have a chance to start a family. thank you for your support. : )

    Awww, dam! That's so harsh, so sorry for your  loss, hon. (((hug))) You haven't seem him for the last time, yet. There's something to what Greek said. Don't forget to eat and brush your hair, doesn't sound like anyone will take care of you there. A long bath with candles and  prayer can be comforting, too.

    Thank all of you so very much. You guys really are too kind. My mother told me to close my eyes and see his smile. That's really all I need to do. I've been doing it all day, and it's not so bad anymore. I can't tell you all how much I appreciate you. You are all such great people. I'm happy to be a part of this community.

    It hurts like hell doesn't it? I lost my beautiful daughter-inlaw at a young age. I found a way to cope by emulating her goodness however I can. I keep her in my mind and remember all her goodness. Somehow it allows me to feel she is still in my life.
