   so are strippers people? this is my question. I am an exotic Entertainer and love traveling between California and Las Vegas to dance and for gigs. but wither you love us or HATE us. there is no middle ground. so why is that. I have tons of personality and love to go clubbin and hang out. but once the title "stripper" gets out... Oh no here comes the lighting and thunder and ppl lose their damn minds. how about just giving us a chance to see we are exceptionally gorgeous woman who arent afraid to walk around the house naked? Hell guys to. u know you have a confident man when he walks through the house naked gets himself a drink out the fridge and looks at you like your wierd for having clothes on! so give me the feedback. Don't be shy... I'm not....

            If they weren't people, I doubt there would be as much money in it as there is.  I mean, while I'm sure there are some guys who would pay to see, say, a hermit crab take off its shell, I'm thinking being a person is really the only way to make any kind of serious money at it.

      I used to drive a taxi cab here in Las Vegas, maybe I even had you in my cab.  I remember several of the women telling me they lived in Cali and just worked the Rhino and other strip clubs on the weekends. I'm going to bet you actually work at the Rhino since you commute here from cali, which isn't quite its real name but thats what all the cabbies call it and I'm sure you would know what I mean.
      
      Most of the strippers I had in my cab were nice enough and tipped well too.  I had plenty of ya'll in my cab since I started working about 4am and the hotels on the strip are pretty dead at that hour except on weekends.

   I have no problem with what you do for a living.  People who do have a problem with what you do, probably have a problem with most things.  The human body is a beautiful thing and some people have a more beautiful one than others.  It the perception of the 'looker' that seems to cause the trouble.  When I was a nurse, I spent my days gazing at peoples bodies and have probably seen more naughty bits than had hot dinners but never saw anything sexual in it.  Your dancing glorifies sexuality and if people don't like it, they should sod off and do something they do like!  Take no notice, a pure heart is worth a thousand scandalised moralising miseries.

   I for one have no problem either.  Don't be offended if I do not visit your site or that of your friends though.  I am able to find girls without paying for it, and personally; I am not a fan of strip clubs.  It isn't that I don't like what you do there, it's just that I can't see spending money on a tease when I can go to a night club, bar or find a date by socializing.  There are a great deal of foolish men out there that think the girls in strip clubs are into them and will spend loads of cash on them.  I say more power to the girls.  If some dummy wishes to fork up his pay check getting all worked up and sending these girls to college, I am all for it.  It just won't be me

   strippers are very enlightened people.  although I am a proponent of free love (hangover from hippy days) I still love the ART of stripping (there was another thread about whether it was an art or something like that)  and if I only had a bod like that I'd probably be shakin it for some loose cash, too.  It will be great to hear all about it in your hubs.  I'm sure the movies don't tell the whole or true story.  Welcome a broad, um, I mean, aboard!

    Thing is, I bet when you're out at walmart, all dressed in your faded pj's and fuzzy bunny house slippers(Don't deny it, we know you do it), that most people don't even think twice.  You go up to the cashier, they give you a bored look and a half hearted hello, and guess what - you're just like everyone else.
    
    But, once you start openly advertising the fact that you strip for a living, well, it has such a negative connotation to it that people are going to react.  I mean, go into that same walmart wearing a lacy thong and see what happens.
    
    It's all about perspective.  If all you want to see is the "love or hate" part of things, then that's all you'll see.  Nobody really cares what you do for a living - it's your choice - but people will care when you bring it into their house, so to speak.

          ok, we are all strippers  - its just that some of us make a bunch of money stripping and others of use have to put a cloth over all the mirrors in order not to have fits, while we are stripping.   Altho, now that I think of it, having a fit while stripping might be about the closest I will ever come to pole dancing!  keep that broom away from me!

    I always feel a bit hypocritical when I am asked questions like this, I have no problem with strippers doing what they do in theory, however I don't think I could ever date a stripper because of what they do.
    
    This obviously shows that I do have a problem with what they do, even though I don't think I do, what a conundrum.
    
    I guess it's just because even though I am not a posessive kind of guy, I do like my girl to be completely true to me, and I think that if she was 'showing off the wares' so to speak, that would be the case.
