Yes, for good and lesser reasons. Some make good networking partners and even friends, others wish to be "hangers on" and expect to gain more Internet traffic by attaching to high-scorers. Some "100" people are getting a lot of the Nigerian-spam letters. When I'm at 100, I tend to get requests to purchase things.
I notice you're at 100 now, Patty. Send me all your money and I'll teach you how to make Millions and Millions... really, I promise!
Well I havent gotten there yet, but I assume it is because people think you must be good if you could accomplish such a high score or because if you search for hubers the higher score the closer to the top of the list you are and more people see you... anyways... You deserve the high score and the additional fans!
Congrats at your perfect 100!
haven't reached a hubber score of 100 yet, the closest I got was 99 for a day... but that was nice. to see a 100 must be nice to see!
I haven't managed the 100 yet either, but came close with a 98.
Congratulations Sandra! You wear it nicely.
I haven't noticed that, but I'm not usually at 100 long enough to notice anything either. It might be a day or so (two maybe), but there's only so much online time that happens in any one day. It does seem to me, though, that followers seems to be a mostly slow and steady thing. They just seem, to me, to have dribbled in a little at a time, no matter what I do or don't do.
I made a 100 score on 3 different occasions but never noticed any real jump in followers.
Congratulations - when I get there I'll let you know what happens!
My Hubscore hit 100 when I posted a lot in the forums for a week or so (it was too hot to go anywhere that week). I think I probably upset too many people in the forums to attract many followers. So it sort of balances out.
I find when I have a high hubscore like that I get a lot more spammers too
Never reached 100 - highest I've ever been is 94, but am all excited today because one of my hubs reached 97 which is a personal best for me, though last time I looked it had fallen back to 96.
When I see one of those 100's I have the image of Atlas holding up the heavens on his shoulder... must be some weight to carry!
Mercifully, the highest I've hit is 98... I breathe better when it hovers around a middle 95 though....not too high nor too low!
I do notice a few followers added when I am at 100 but not really much difference. Perhaps it's my avatar! LOL
While on the hunt for the 100 hub score, I am also in search of the perfect 100 proof scotch. I believe the trek for the scotch will be more successful since the elusive “hubber” score consists of indefinable components that no one understands and/or seems to attain only by accident or divine staff intervention.
Perhaps we should form a lobby.

I just have to ask you to celebrate with me. After 7 months, I finally got a hubber score of 100. I never thought I'd see that.Of course, I don't know why, but I must be doing something right.

Yea! For the first time. This is exactly how I did it . . . I, uh, I . . . well, I kept writing the best I could, commented usefully on others, and I decided not to ever worry about trying to reach 100 on my Hubscore.

I said I wouldn't care if this ever happened. But it has. And I guess I do. Looking at my traffic stats it seems as though one of my hubs has finally reached a 100 hubscore. It took a long time but that kind of made my day!

I've been writing for years and I've never managed to get a hub itself to have a 100 score (the profile is a different story)... but today it finally happened!Oddly enough with a hub I wrote on the 23rd of last month on the topic of traffic (who knew that'd be a hot topic these days )...So I guess...

Is there a maximum score a hub can have?I have a hub that has a score of 100 and wondered if there was a limit on the score possible for a hub.

She's definitely one of my favorites and I'm happy to be one of her 300! Awesome!!!
